“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

There Will Be Consequences

See the articles below:

Donald Trump was Yahweh’s man for a time like this. He was anointed. He did an amazing job as President of the United States, but he had to battle against sinister forces in the Democrat Party, social media, establishment media, entertainment, and big tech every step of the way. He also had to contend with leaders in countries who were disgruntled because their countries have been feeding at the U.S. taxpayer feeding trough since the end of World War I. It was a coordinated effort, indeed.

There are consequences for attacking Yahweh’s anointed. The best example of this in the Bible occurs when David’s son Absalom forced him to leave Jerusalem in a coup attempt. It didn’t work, and Absalom was killed, but David did have to go into hiding for a while.

As David was fleeing Jerusalem, he encountered a man named Shimei, a Benjaminite in King Saul’s family. The exchange between David and Shimei as David was leaving Jerusalem, the instructions about Shimei that David gave to Solomon when he became King of Israel, and what Solomon did to Shimei are presented below.

There will be consequences this time, too. I don’t know what they will be, but I suspect they will be severe. The punishment for many of them should be severe in the extreme.

Like Shimei, the people who attacked President Trump had no fear of Yahweh. They have a lot to learn, and learn they will. They will regret what they did. Yahweh will make sure of it. My prayer is that the consequences will be without human intervention. I want to see Yahweh do it Himself, the way He did in Egypt leading up to the exodus.

Shimei Curses David as He Flees Jerusalem

5 When King David came to Bahurim, behold, a man was coming out from there from the family of the house of Saul, and his name was Shimei, the son of Gera; he was coming out, cursing as he came. 6 He also threw stones at David and all the servants of King David; and all the people and all the warriors were on his right and on his left. 7 This is what Shimei said when he cursed: “Go away, go away, you man of bloodshed and worthless man! 8 Yahweh has brought back upon you all the bloodshed of the house of Saul, in whose place you have become king; and Yahweh has handed the kingdom over to your son Absalom. And behold, you are caught in your own evil, for you are a man of bloodshed!”

9 Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king, “Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Now let me go over and cut off his head.” 10 But the king said, “What business of mine is yours, you sons of Zeruiah? If he curses, and if Yahweh has told him, ‘Curse David,’ then who should say, ‘Why have you done so?’” 11 Then David said to Abishai and to all his servants, “Behold, my son who came out of my own body seeks my life; how much more now this Benjaminite? Leave him alone and let him curse, for Yahweh has told him. 12 Perhaps Yahweh will look on my misery and return good to me instead of His cursing this day.” 13 So David and his men went on the road; and Shimei kept going on the hillside close beside him, and as he went he cursed and threw stones and dirt at him. (2 Samuel 16: 5-13)

David Instructs Solomon about Shimei after Solomon Becomes King

8 And behold, you have with you Shimei the son of Gera the Benjaminite, of Bahurim; now it was he who cursed me with a painful curse on the day I went to Mahanaim. But when he came down to meet me at the Jordan, I swore to him by Yahweh, saying, ‘I will not put you to death with the sword.’ 9 But now do not leave him unpunished, for you are a wise man; and you will know what to do to him, and you will bring his gray hair down to Sheol with blood.” (1 Kings 2: 8-9)

Shimei is Executed

36 Now the king [Solomon] sent men and summoned Shimei, and said to him, “Build yourself a house in Jerusalem and live there, and do not leave there for any other place. 37 For on the day you leave and cross the brook Kidron, you will know for certain that you will assuredly die; your blood will be on your own head.” 38 Shimei then said to the king, “The word is good. Just as my lord the king has spoken, so your servant shall do.” So Shimei lived in Jerusalem for many days.

39 But it came about at the end of three years, that two of Shimei’s servants ran away to Achish son of Maacah, king of Gath. And others told Shimei, saying, “Behold, your servants are in Gath.” 40 Then Shimei got up and saddled his donkey, and went to Gath to Achish, to search for his servants. And Shimei went and brought his servants from Gath. 41 And it was reported to Solomon that Shimei had gone from Jerusalem to Gath, and had returned. 42 So the king sent men and summoned Shimei, and said to him, “Did I not make you swear by Yahweh, and solemnly warn you, saying, ‘Know for certain that on the day you depart and go anywhere, you shall assuredly die’? And you said to me, ‘The word I have heard is good.’ 43 Why then have you not kept the oath of Yahweh, and the command which I imposed on you?” 44 The king also said to Shimei, “You yourself know all the evil that you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore Yahweh will return your evil on your own head. 45 But King Solomon will be blessed, and the throne of David will be established before Yahweh forever.” 46 So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck him so that he died. (1 Kings 2: 36-46)

The Messiah is Speaking

I tell you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.” (Luke 12: 4-5)

“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason My Father loves Me is that I lay down My life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”

John 10: 14-18
