Yahweh has a Lot of Work to Do

We Need a Mighty Act of Yahweh

The things people are saying in the video are absolutely true.

I think the biggest mistake ever made in the history of the world was the rabbis’ decision to forbid the use of Yahweh’s Name in the mid-2^nd century BC. Yahweh told us to declare His Name boldly. Both things can’t be correct. Either the rabbis are right or Yahweh is right.

That’s a no-brainer. Yahweh is right, and the rabbis are wrong.

“From the rising of the sun to its setting, the Name of Yahweh is to be praised.” (Psalm 113: 3)

Rabbis have great sway in Judaism, because they have convinced many Jewish people that the Oral Law takes precedence over the Torah. That’s insane, but people bought it. The Oral Law is discussed in the Talmud and other religious writings. It’s called “Halacha” in Hebrew. It’s also called “the traditions of the Jews”. Halacha is man-made law for a man-made religion.

It’s impossible to understand essential points the Messiah made in the gospels and much of what Paul said unless people understand what Halacha is and the role Halacha plays in Judaism. Halacha and Judaism started in the 500s BC while Jewish people were in exile in Babylon. It got worse going forward.

The Messiah came to die as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, but He had several other things to accomplish during his earthly ministry:

• To restore the primacy of Yahweh’s Law and the prophets.
• To tell the people what Halacha really is.
• To restore the use of Yahweh’s Name.

The religious leaders of the Messiah’s day hated Him, because His teachings threatened their social, political, and economic well-being. The Messiah’s followers believed the truths He told, and they were growing in number rapidly. If He had been allowed to continue, their lifestyles would have changed dramatically. That is something the priests could not abide, and that is why they had Him killed.

The priests lived like kings. Watch the video below. I took it in the Wohl Archaeological Museum in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. It shows the remains of priests’ homes that were destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Their homes were like palaces, and oddly enough, pagan idols were unearthed inside their homes during the excavations.

The Messiah called Halacha “traditions of men”. It represents the thinking of Jewish sages over centuries of time beginning during the Babylonian Captivity. The Messiah said that Jewish religious leaders applying Halacha were “blind leaders of the blind”. (Matthew 15: 14)

“Neglecting the commandment of Elohim, you hold to traditions of men.” (Mark 7: 8)

Paul used the term “law” to discuss Halacha and the Torah. That’s understandable. He was a Pharisee (an ultra-Orthodox Jew) before Yahweh put Him on the right path.

Paul understood the difference between Yahweh’s Law and the Oral Law, but most people who read Paul’s letters don’t understand it. They see the word “law” and they equate the two. That is a serious mistake.

Much of the heresy that has pervaded the church comes from people’s misunderstanding of the word “law” in the New Testament, and preachers are the worst offenders. Most of them have based their religion on Paul’s letters even though they don’t understand much of what he said. They think the do, but they don’t.

The Messiah made clear that Yahweh’s Law is still in effect. We ignore His Law at our own peril.

“For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” (Matthew 5: 18)

This problem won’t be easy to solve. Changing Jewish people’s attitudes toward Halacha will take a mighty act of Yahweh. That’s what He will do. He’s in the process of doing it now.

It will be just as difficult to change Christian people’s attitudes. Christianity is a man-made religion, too. It’s loaded with traditions that did not emanate from Yahweh.

Think about it. The 2 holiest days on the Christian calendar are Christmas and Easter. Both of those celebrations originated as pagan religious festivals, and today’s celebrations of Christmas and Easter in most churches bring those pagan traditions forward:

• Originally, Christmas was the Roman Sun god festival. The Sun god’s name is Sol Invictus. It means “Unconquered Sun”. The Roman Emperor Constantine, the founder of the Catholic Church, was a Sun god worshiper.
• Originally, Easter was the festival for the fertility goddess Ishtar. Constantine also worshiped Ishtar. He forbade Passover and substituted Easter in its place. The correct pronunciation of Ishtar is “Easter”. That should tell us something.

“I am Yahweh your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me.” (Exodus 20: 2-3)

That’s the 1^st Commandment.

When Yahweh told us not to mix the holy with the profane, He meant it. That is exactly what the Catholic Church did, and Protestant churches followed suit. That is epic fail:

“Moreover, they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.” (Ezekiel 44: 23)

This is another critical problem. The notion that anyone becomes Jewish by converting to Judaism is patently absurd. The only people who are Jewish are direct descendants of Judah. No one can become a direct descendant of Judah by converting to Judaism.

“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life, says this: ‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.'” (Revelation 2: 8-9)

Yahweh has a lot of work to do, and He has a plan for bringing about the changes He will make.

We are getting close. I can feel it.
