A Catch-22 for Democrats

Democrats are between a rock and a hard place.

For the past 3 months, Democrats have been using Covid-19 as a weapon with which to bludgeon President Trump. No matter what the president did, it was not enough:

Not enough masks. Problem solved. Still not enough.
Not enough ventilators. Problem solved. Still not enough.
Not enough testing. Problem solved. Still not enough.

When President Trump announced plans to reopen the economy, Democrats attacked him for that, too. They said it would violate Dr. Anthony Fauci’s social distancing mandate. They argued that science demanded that we drive the U.S. economy to the bottom of the pit.

Then Came George Floyd

George Floyd is a black man who was murdered by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a Democrat-run city in a Democrat-run state. Peaceful protests were organized across the country. The protests were hijacked immediately by Democrat front groups like Antifa, and mass rioting exploded in dozens of urban areas in the U.S.

At that point, Democrats abandoned any pretense about concern for the spread of Covid-19. All of a sudden, social distancing was irrelevant, and Democrats started telling decent Americans that our burning cities were the result of those “peaceful protests”. They said that the riots had nothing to do with thuggish Democrat front groups roaming streets, killing cops and innocent bystanders, and looting. Law and order were irrelevant, Democrats told us. The rioters were simply expressing themselves, and freedom of expression is protected by the 1^st Amendment.

The Catch-22

In 10 days, if there IS a spike in Covid-19 infections and deaths in major U.S. cities, the Democrat-supported rioters will be the culprits. Democrats will have no excuse.

In 10 days, if there IS NOT a spike in Covid-19 infections and deaths in major U.S. cities, Democrats will have to explain why they supported destroying the economy for another fabricated cause.

It’s a Catch-22. For Democrats, it’s a lose-lose situation. They aren’t smart enough to see it.

Oops there goes another boomerang.

Democrats will do Anything to Regain Power

Democrats will do anything to regain power. Destroying the economy and killing innocent people are the price Democrats expect us to pay for electing President Trump. They have been at it since before the president was inaugurated.

To Democrats, innocent victims are just collateral damage. To them, regaining power is the only thing that matters.
