“Jim Acosta is an asshole who works for a shithole network.”

I’m getting sick and tired of Jim Acosta and CNN. Acosta isn’t the only reporter and CNN isn’t the only network that I have problems with, but they stand out in my mind.

Compared to President Trump, Acosta is a mental midget, yet the “reporter” arrogantly plays gotcha with the president every day he is in the room for the coronavirus updates.  This isn’t new.  Acosta has been doing it since Donald Trump was inaugurated.

Acosta did it again today more than once. He didn’t ask questions seeking answers. He asked questions to push an agenda that aligns perfectly with the Democrat Party agenda. He may as well have read Democrat talking points.

For Acosta, everything is an opportunity to attack a man who is working tirelessly for the American people for free and doing a better job than any president in modern history.  Acosta should be ashamed.

Acosta walks away from his exchanges with the president beaming. He probably thinks that the fact the president knows his name makes him a big man. He also probably thinks that he got the president, and he’s proud of himself. CNN will report it that way this evening even though Acosta made a fool of himself again.

To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever asked the president what he thinks of Jim Acosta. If someone did ask him, this is what the president should say:

“Jim Acosta is an asshole who works for a shithole network.”

If he said that, I would say, “Mr. President, you hit the nail on the head.”

The Media Should Police Itself

During President Trump’s second term, I hope some people in the media have enough common sense, professionalism, and concern for the credibility of the media in the U.S. to recommend the creation of a task force to investigate what has taken place over the last 4 years.  The task force should develop recommendations for change.

If the media doesn’t police itself, Congress should do it for them.

The media has always been biased, but never before have I seen the media en masse abandon any pretense of professionalism. It started before the president was inaugurated.  Media titans such as the New York Times and the Washington Post announced publicly that they were hiring hit squads to take down the Trump administration.  That was shocking.

No one can report the news objectively if his goal is to destroy an administration.  It’s just not possible.

Reporting the news has become a thing of the past. It’s all opinion all the time. Many reporters are nothing more than Democrat Party hacks, spinmeisters. I’m sick of it.

Reporters have a job to do. They should do their job and leave their opinions at the door.

I am very selective about the people I seek opinions from. Personally, I don’t care what Jim Acosta thinks.
