Democrats and the Media are Trying to Weaponize Coronavirus to Bring Down President Trump
Democrats and the media are slow learners. Working together hand-in-hand, they have been trying to destroy the Trump presidency 24/7/365 since before he was inaugurated. Each malicious lie they have told about him and each investigation they have launched against him has boomeranged and hit them in the face. Still, they keep trying.
While they attacked him mercilessly, the president was busy doing his job, and what a job he has done. Nothing his political enemies have thrown at him has stopped President Trump from doing his job and doing it well.
Along Came Coronavirus
Coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China. President Trump recognized the potential threat immediately and halted all incoming flights from China. For that, Democrats and the media called the president a racist.
Turns out, President Trump was right.

McNeil Jr. noted that the Trump administration took “aggressive measures like barring entry to non-Americans who were recently in China and advising Americans not to go to China or South Korea,” and that this strategy worked, despite the fact that the World Health Organization officially opposes travel and trade restrictions, and “reiterated that even as it declared the epidemic a global emergency on Jan. 30.”
When it became obvious that coronavirus would morph into a pandemic, Democrats and their media mouthpieces started criticizing every move the president made to protect the American people. They want the pubic to think that President Trump is incompetent. That’s ridiculous. Now, some of them are saying publicly that they hope there will be enough deaths from coronavirus to prevent the president’s re-election. That’s evil.

Imagine reacting to the coronavirus outbreak by hoping that the situation gets horrific enough to bring about the downfall of the Trump administration. Ever since the coronavirus outbreak hit the news cycle, progressive media has been using it as a political cudgel to slam the Trump administration while whipping the public into a frenzy.
But last Friday, MSNBC aired a segment in which host Nicole Wallace and Princeton professor Eddie Glaude attempted to paint the outbreak as President Trump’s “Hurricane Katrina.” But even worse, they seemed to hope that the deaths that result from the disease would lead to the president’s defeat in November.
A Comparison: H1N1 vs. Coronavirus in the U.S. Using CDC Data
H1N1: From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010—60.8 million cases, 274,304 hospitalizations, and 12,469 deaths in the U.S.
Coronavirus: Through March 13, 2020—1,629 cases, 41 deaths in the U.S.
The Difference: Obama was president during H1N1. Donald Trump is president today.
Conclusion: To Democrats and the media, coronavirus is a political weapon.
Democrats and the Media are Hurting People
Hysteria won’t solve our problem. In fact, it hurts people. Democrats and the media are like an adolescent teen screaming “Fire!” in a crowded theater for the thrill of it all. They can’t grasp the fact that their actions have terrible consequences.
Thanks to their hype, in major metropolitan areas, store shelves are empty. People are hording food that will rot in their homes. They are making a bad situation worse, because that rotting food is needed by others who will have to do without.
Democrats and the media are using coronavirus to gain political advantage, but this isn’t a political game. The safety and security of our nation is at stake.

“A bad flu season is 80,000 dead. We’ve got about 18,000 dead from influenza this year; we have 100 from corona,” Dr. Pinsky told CBS Local’s DJ Sixsmith in an interview.
“Which should you be worried about, influenza or corona, 100 versus 18,000? It’s not a trick question,” he continued. “Look, everything that’s going on, with New York cleaning the subways and everyone using Clorox wipes, and get your flu shot, which should be the other message, that’s good, that’s a good thing. So I have no problems with the behaviors.
“What I have a problem with is the panic and the fact that businesses are getting destroyed and people’s lives are being upended. Not by the virus, but by the panic,” he explained. “The panic must stop, and the press, they really, somehow, need to be held accountable, because they are hurting people.”
To Democrats, Coronavirus is a Political Game
Democrats and the media are using a page out of Rahm Emanuel’s playbook. They can’t bring themselves to do the right thing. To them, coronavirus is just a political game.

I am scared that travel restrictions will become so far reaching that weddings will be canceled, graduations missed and family reunions will not materialize. And well, even that big party called the Olympic Games…that could be kiboshed too. Can you even imagine?
I’m scared those same epidemic fears will limit trade, harm partnerships in multiple sectors, business and otherwise and ultimately culminate in a global recession.
But mostly, I’m scared about what message we are telling our kids when faced with a threat. Instead of reason, rationality, open-mindedness and altruism, we are telling them to panic, be fearful, suspicious, reactionary and self-interested.
We Will Survive
Despite what Democrats and the media want us to believe, we will survive. Nobel laureate Michael Levitt ran the numbers. He thinks coronavirus is losing steam already.

Democrats and the Media are Destroying What’s Left of their Credibility
At this point, Democrats and the media don’t have much credibility. They are squandering what’s left of their credibility on coronavirus.
Thanks to President Trump’s actions, by election day coronavirus will be behind us, the economy will be humming, the stock market will be soaring, and the unemployment rate will be low and falling. That’s why he is a shoo-in for re-election.
Democrats and the media have tried to ruin the president. Instead, they have made him unbeatable.

The day after the election, Democrats will be wringing their hands and wondering what happened. All they will need to do is look in the mirror. They did it to themselves. They are the problem.
