American Voters aren’t Stupid
According to House Intelligence Committee transcripts, Michael Cohen said that President Trump’s attorney, Jay Sekulow, encouraged him to falsely claim that the president’s Moscow project ended in January 2016.
No one should have to tell an attorney that reasonable people don’t see confessed liars and fraudsters as credible witnesses. Cohen must have been absent the day in law school when they talked about witnesses and juries.
Cohen wanted to be the president’s first chief of staff. The president said, “No.”
Cohen used his self-professed “influence” with the president to make deals to enrich himself. That didn’t go over well with the president or with his White House staff.
White House staffers saw Cohen as a lightweight hanger-on. He was the president’s fixer and nothing more.
Cohen asked the president for a pardon. He said, “No.”
Now, Cohen is playing a game of payback. Problem is he’s criminal. He’s a convict with a bad reputation. Democrats are the only people who pretend to believe him, because he’s willing to say whatever they want to hear.
Michael Cohen isn’t trustworthy. Regardless of what he says and no matter who he says it to, his accusations are meaningless. Reasonable people see him as a man with a vendetta.
The facts haven’t stopped the Washington Post and the New York Times from trying to make hay with Cohen’s accusations. The establishment media titans won’t let up. The very day President Trump won the 2016 presidential election, they publicly announced that they were beefing up their coverage of the White House in hopes of destroying the president, and that’s exactly what they did.
We know that the NYT colluded with discredited former FBI Director James Comey. Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report should provide the details. Bull Durham’s investigation will reveal a lot more.
Before this thing is through, we will discover that the cabal of conspirators plotting a coup d’état was huge. It’s tentacles in the establishment media were supposed to convince the American public that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president.
That didn’t work.
They hoped the president would resign in disgrace to avoid being exposed.
He didn’t.
They thought a special investigator would uncover evidence of Russia collusion on the president’s part.
It didn’t.
As a last gasp maneuver, they hope to pin an obstruction of justice charge on the president. Mueller and his team didn’t think they had enough evidence to make that charge stick. Attorney General Barr and his deputy, Rod Rosenstein, looked at the evidence. They reached the same conclusion.
President Trump was falsely accused. That’s what the evidence shows.
Promises Made, Promises Reneged On
Before the 2018 mid-term elections, Democrat candidates promised all kinds of things to attract voters. Their friends in the media supported them every way they could.
The window of opportunity to pass legislation before the 2020 presidential election is rapidly closing. So far, Democrats in the House and Senate have accomplished nothing.
All the while, President Trump continues to do the impossible despite the fact that former Democrat higher-ups, people like John Kerry, are lobbying world leaders to wait until after the 2020 presidential election before doing anything. That’s terrible advice.
President Trump warned Chinese President Xi Jinping against following that advice. We don’t know yet what President Xi will do. I’m sure Iran got the same warning through backchannels. They ignored it. President Trump is sending Iran’s leaders a message now that they had better not ignore.
President Trump will win the 2020 election. It will be another can’t lose situation for Democrats that they will miraculously lose.
If you think they are fit to be tied now, just wait. Diehard Democrats will go berserk in November 2020.
The American people are waking up. The Democrat base of support is evaporating. The Party of Perversity is losing big in one state after another.
Promises Made, Promises Kept
For President Trump, “Promises Made, Promises Kept” isn’t just a motto. It’s a fact.
Democrats made lots of promises, too. They kept none of them. They pinned their hope for success on unseating the president. In the process, they drove a wooden stake through their own heart.
American voters aren’t stupid. That’s the lesson Democrats should have learned in 2016, but they didn’t.
Democrats are opportunistic liars with a lust for wealth and power. Like rutting bucks, they can’t or won’t abandon the nonsense and focus their attention on what is best for America.
