Speculating on the Next Vice President

There is a lot of talk these days about who should be President Trump’s running mate in 2020.  The fact that Mike Pence is vice president now shouldn’t be seen as a guarantee that he will be asked to serve in that capacity again.

See “Nikki Haley to Replace Mike Pence? Donald Trump Never Forgave Vice President for Criticizing ‘Access Hollywood’ Tape, Report Says”.

Is Mike Pence the Right Choice?

Is Mike Pence the right person to be President Trump’s running mate in 2020?  I don’t think so.

Pence comes across as a stuffed shirt.  He’s robotic.  He talks like a Baptist preacher lecturing his congregation slowly and methodically.  He’s too rehearsed.  To me, that translates into insincerity.

I don’t know Mike Pence personally.  Those are just my feelings, and feelings are all I have to go on.

In elections, feelings matter.  In fact, more than anything else, feelings determine how people vote.

I’ll bet I’m not the only person who harbors those feelings about Mike Pence.

The next vice president will be the GOP front-runner in the 2024 presidential campaign.  That has to be taken into consideration when choosing President Trump’s running mate in 2020.

Nikki Haley in South Carolina

Nikki Haley proved herself as Governor of South Carolina.  I think she would make a great president one day.

I lived in South Carolina in 2010 when Haley ran for governor the first time.  To say the least, she was not one of the good ole boys in the South Carolina Republican Party.  To prevent her from winning the GOP nomination for governor, establishment Republicans attacked her mercilessly.

The good ole boys accused Haley of carrying on a steamy affair with one of her campaign aides.  It was like a soap opera.

That accusation was unsubstantiated and unprovable.  It came from nowhere, and it made no sense.  It was identical to the accusations that were leveled against Brett Kavanaugh during his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

I didn’t believe a word of it.  Neither did most South Carolina voters.

Haley won the election and had to fight with GOP good ole boys to get anything accomplished.  She prevailed and went on to win a second term as governor.

Nikki Haley has the right stuff.  She has actually governed, and she did it in a harsh environment.  She would make a great president.

Nikki Haley in the U.N.

Nikki Haley proved herself again in the U.N.  The U.N. General Assembly is notorious for passing resolutions against Israel for everything under the sun.  Haley told the U.N. member states that enough is enough.  She said it in clear and unmistakable terms, so they got the message.

Haley was consistent and persistent.  She didn’t let up.  To get anything done, that’s the way you have to be.  Israel haters in the U.N. were no match for Nikki Haley, and Israel was protected.

No Woman in the Democrat Party is Qualified to be President

Democrats are determined to elect a woman as president regardless of her qualifications.  I don’t have a problem with a woman president, but I have serious problems with the Democrat women who want to be president.

Hillary Clinton is a perfect example.  She’s a criminal.  She was a criminal long before she became the Democrat nominee for president.  An investigation by the Justice Department will prove the truth of that assertion.  It won’t be a close call, either.  It will be obvious.

As first lady, Hillary was an embarrassment.

Her performance in the Senate was typical.  She didn’t accomplish anything.  She talked a lot and voted.

As secretary of state, Hillary was a disaster.  Benghazi is just one example.  There are many others.

As the Democrat nominee for president, Hillary’s criminal ways came shining through.  She infected everyone and everything she touched.  Under her leadership, the Democrat Party went off the deep end.

My biggest problem with the Mueller investigation is that there are mountains of evidence suggesting that there was collusion between Russian operatives and the Hillary campaign, but he isn’t investigating Hillary.  Mueller is determined to attack President Trump despite there being no evidence of collusion between his campaign and Russian operatives.

Even so, Hillary Clinton still wants to be president.  I’ll do everything I can do legally to prevent that from happening.

Senators Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren want to be president, too.  Neither one of them is qualified.  Both of them are shameless opportunists.  I won’t go into detail about them now, but if either of them is nominated, I will.

Voters Want a Woman President

Voters across the country are sending strong signals that now is the time to elect a woman president.  Ignoring that fact would be foolish, because voters end up getting what they want.

Nikki Haley would be a great president.  Let’s get her ready for the job.  After 4 years as vice president, she will be ready to take the helm.

Nikki Haley won’t be a token woman.  She’s the real deal.  There isn’t a Democrat, man or woman, who is a match for Nikki Haley.

Voters want a woman president.  Let’s give them one in 2024.

Nikki Haley for President in 2024!

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
