CNN—Committee contacts Ford’s friend about party; ‘she has no recollection’ of it, lawyer says:

CNN has learned that the committee has reached out to a longtime friend of Ford named Leland Ingham Keyser.
“I understand that you have been identified as an individual who was in attendance at a party that occurred circa 1982 described in a recent Washington Post article,” a committee staffer wrote Keyser earlier this week.
On Saturday night, her lawyer, Howard Walsh, released a statement to CNN and the Senate Judiciary Committee.
“Simply put,” Walsh said, “Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford.”

Christine Ford’s accusation against Brett Kavanaugh needs to be investigated, but not by the FBI. It needs to be investigated in Maryland where the alleged crime took place by local law enforcement officials. That’s what is supposed to happen.
Ford’s accusation makes no sense. It hasn’t made sense since the day it was invented.
I would love to know who prepped Ford for the onslaught that they must have known was heading her way.
I would love to know the logic for bleaching Ford’s social media accounts. Her handlers must have known that obtaining information about her would not be difficult and that the act of bleaching those accounts makes it look like she has something to hide. Some will argue that it makes her look guilty of a crime.
Ford’s handlers have accused Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee of “leaking” and “bullying”. Let’s take a look:
Leaking
Democrats leaked Ford’s unfounded and unsubstantiated accusation. It was their plan. Their leaks got the ball rolling. Ultimately, Senator Dianne Feinstein is responsible for the leaks.
Bullying
Democrats failed to elect a president who would support their perverted agenda. President Trump is doing exactly what he promised to do. Democrats are pummeling President Trump with false accusations. Christine Ford’s unfounded and unsubstantiated accusation against Brett Kavanaugh is one of them. He is an innocent victim of a crime and a surrogate punching bag for Trump-haters. That’s the textbook definition of “bullying”.
Democrats are Shameless, Divisive Opportunists
As usual, Democrats and their operatives are guilty of doing what they accuse their opponents of doing and of being what they accuse their opponents of being.
False charges should have consequences. Democrats have done this before. Everyone involved in this sordid episode should be identified and charged with a crime.
Democrats are shameless, divisive opportunists. They are trying to prevent Brett Kavanaugh from being confirmed by the Senate and to energize their perverted followers for the 2018 midterm elections.
