We Call Them “Shithole Countries” Because That’s What They Are

There is a reason why they are called “shithole countries”. It’s because they are shitholes.
When we import people randomly from shithole countries, they bring their culture with them, and they create shitholes in my country. I suspect that President Trump feels the same way I do. Most thinking people feel that way, too.
Proper vetting and assimilation can solve the problem, but we don’t vet or assimilate properly. Neither do European countries. That’s why once civilized countries in Europe are becoming shitholes.
For example, parts of London are shitholes. The video below was taken not too long ago. It proves that parts of London are shitholes today.
London isn’t the only European city that is becoming a shithole. Take a look at Stockholm, Sweden:
Every country in Europe has imported immigrants who have proceeded to turn their new homes into something very much like the shitholes they left. It’s no wonder that Europeans are angry, and it’s no surprise that Europe is coming unglued. It’s becoming a shithole.
Shitholes are like cancer. They spread.
I have said many times that I love Jerusalem, and I do, but there are places in Jerusalem to which I will not go. For example, I will not go to the outside of the Temple Mount wall in front of the Eastern Gate. It’s also called the Golden Gate, because it’s the gate the Messiah will use when He returns.
In front of the Eastern Gate, there is a Muslim graveyard, and the gate has been blocked up so that it can’t be used. Muslims know about Bible prophecy. They blocked up the Eastern Gate to prevent the Messiah from entering the Temple Mount. They put a graveyard in front of it because they know that the Messiah is Jewish and that Jewish people are not supposed to walk on graves.
It sounds ridiculous, but it’s true.
Those are interesting facts, but they are not the reasons why I don’t go to the outside of the Eastern Gate anymore. Palestinians have turned that graveyard and the area around it into a garbage dump. It’s not a literal garbage dump, but litter has been dumped there for so long that it resembles a garbage dump. Palestinians have done nothing to clean it up. Rabble-rousers hang out near there. They accost non-Muslim visitors. Going to the outside of the Eastern Gate is not worth the risk. It’s a shithole.
Below is a picture of the Eastern Gate on the outside of the Temple Mount wall. This is as close as I will get to it now.
Mea She’arim is an orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem. It’s very near the Old City. Most of the people living there don’t believe Israel should exist, but they are not too proud to accept welfare payments from the Israeli government so they can feed their families and pay their rent. They are the welfare class in Israel. Most of the beggars you see near the Kotel and the Temple Mount live in Mea She’arim.
Mea She’arim is notorious. Orthodox Jews who live there will physically attack their Jewish neighbors on the streets if they decide to enlist in the IDF. If you are a tourist and you aren’t dressed conservatively enough for the orthodox Jewish residents of Mea She’arim, they may stone you or spit on you.
It almost happened to my daughter Rebekah, because she was wearing shorts. It was in July, and it was hot, probably 95 degrees. We were walking down the street, and a religious Jew from Mea She’arim got right in her face, blessed her out in Hebrew, and spit on the sidewalk in front of her. I was getting ready to punch him out if he did anything more threatening. Thankfully, he walked away after making a fool of himself and prevented me from being arrested.
Below is a picture that I took in Mea She’arim on Shabbat. Shabbat is the only day of the week I will go there, because the residents are on their best behavior. Our Israeli daughter, Noam, refuses to go there. Her friends won’t go there, either. They think Katie and I are taking unnecessary risks by simply walking down the street in Mea She’arim. Stated simply, they think Mea She’arim is a shithole. So do I.
If you visit Israel, you will discover that many Palestinians have been integrated into Israeli society. The rabble-rouser crowd probably represents only about 15% of the Palestinian population, but 15% is a large number of people. They have not been integrated, because they don’t want to be integrated. Palestinian political leaders and Muslim religious leaders encourage them not to integrate, and they urge them to become terrorists. Those are serious problems.
Successful Palestinians want no part of the rabble-rouser crowd. They live in self-contained communities, compounds, that are separated spatially from the 15% group, and they build fences around their communities to keep the rabble-rousers out. They do those things for their own protection. Outside those enclaves you see shitholes. That’s where the rabble-rousers live, and they live there by choice.
I can remember when the Washington Post used to be a good newspaper. Reporters working for the Post knew the difference between facts and opinions and you didn’t see opinions being presented as facts. Op-ed page writers knew the difference between facts and opinions, too. They presented facts to support their opinions. Now, the Washington Post resembles National Enquirer. It’s virtually all opinions all the time. It’s a shithole paper.
Washington Post editors have allowed it to happen, and the publisher hasn’t stopped it from happening. Therefore, I think it’s fair to say that they don’t mind working for a shithole paper.
I used to be a Democrat. When we talked among ourselves about the countries that President Trump was referring to, we called them shithole countries. Everybody understood what we meant. That’s why we used the term.
Large parts of major cities in the United States including Washington, D.C. have become shitholes. The video below proves it. It was taken on Christmas Day 2017 in Los Angeles.
Interestingly, if you drive through a shithole city in the U.S. or a part of a city in the U.S. that has become a shithole, you will discover that Democrats exercise political control there.
I don’t mind the use of the term “shithole”. In fact, I like it, because it’s accurate. I don’t want to live in a shithole, and I don’t think I’m alone. It doesn’t bother me one bit that President Trump used that term.
A Little Comic Twist
I’ve had to deal with journalists a lot in my life. I’ve never seen a cruder, more egotistical, and lazier group of people. The things they say and do make anything they write about or talk about on television seem tame.
They are so lazy that while I was in the Governor’s Office in Virginia, we would literally tell them what we wanted them to publish, and they did it. It wasn’t as blatant as it sounds. We would invite them into the office and tell them our story. Dutifully, they did exactly what we knew they would do.
That’s why all of them used the same words in their stories. Those were our words, not their words. If we had given them written copy, I’ll bet that most of them would have put a title on the paper and their names under the title with few if any changes in the text. The fear that they might prevented us from doing it.
The difference between now and then is that today’s journalists have abandoned any pretense of respectability and professionalism. Back then, they wanted to be thought of as something they are not. Now, they don’t seem to care that they look like a bunch of hacks.
Think of Charlie Rose and others in the establishment media who were fired for sexual misconduct after writing or reading for the camera moving stories about sexual misconduct. They are beneath contempt.
They are shithole dwellers. Most of them shovel BS for a living. We call what they print and read for the camera “fake news” because that’s what it is.
