Drieu Godefridi—Europe: The Great White Death?:

A riveting — thanks to its subject — paper was posted the September 4, 2017 on the website of “Institut des Libertés,” the think tank of the great French financier Charles Gave. In it, he asks: Does the native population — by which he means the white population — of Europe face extinction?

His answer is “yes”: “It is not good or bad. IT IS”, Gave writes. His basic argument is that with a “native” rate of fertility of 1.4, a “migrant” — by which he means Muslim — rate of 3.4 to 4 children per woman, and taking the initial Muslim population to be 10% of the total, it will take only 30 to 40 years for the Muslim population to become the majority. Indeed, writes Gave, with a “native” rate of 1.4 for a population of 100, after only two generations you merely see 42 “native” children born.

As expected, Gave was almost immediately scorned as a far-right lunatic for having adopted the theory known in France as “le grand replacement” (“the great replacement”) — of the native population by a new, migrant population. The theory was earlier disseminated by the writer Renaud Camus, who was close to the Front National political party of Marine Le Pen.

In a furious and venomous article about the “foolish calculations” of Gave, the newspaper Libération — compared to which the New York Times or the Washington Post look honest and balanced — wrote that the Muslim population is not 10% of the French population, but less; that the fertility rate of the native population is 1.8, not 1.4; that the fertility rate of the migrants from the Maghreb is 3.53, not 4 and that the concept of “Muslim origin” is nonsensical.

Who then is right, Gave or his critics?

SnyderTalk Comment:

Charles Gave got it right.  Barring a major calamity of some sort, demographics alone guarantee that the Europe we knew is history.

Gave’s conclusion is several decades late, though.  I’ve been warning people about this threat for more than 20 years.  About 15 years ago, I was explaining the problem to a friend of mine in Charlottesville, Virginia, and he told a friend of his in France what I said.  The French guy responded by telling my friend that I was wrong.

I wasn’t wrong then, and I’m not wrong now.  When a large and growing segment of the population openly sets its sights on tearing apart their country, they can do it.  That’s what is happening in countries all over Europe.

Europeans are living through a nightmare of their own making.  Twenty years ago, they could have done something about it.  At this point, nothing short of an all-out war will solve the problem.

I’m not a warmonger.  I’m just explaining what is going to happen.  If you think I mean that war in Europe is inevitable, you are correct.  That’s exactly what I mean.

Gave was being politically correct when he inserted in his explanation that the outcome is “not good or bad”.  The outcome that Europe will encounter soon enough is terrible on every level.  If someone needs to explain that to him, Gave isn’t as smart as he thinks he is.

To hell with political correctness.  Tell the truth and provide information to support your conclusions.  People may not agree with you when you tell them, but if you are right, the smart ones will agree with you in due course.

Burying your head in the sand is a formula for disaster.  It can cost you your life and the lives of the people you know and love.

When I consider that possibility, is say to hell with political correctness.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
