The Algemeiner—Palestinian Authority’s 2017 Budget Shows ‘Huge Increase’ in Funding for Terror Payments:
The Palestinian Authority’s 2017 budget shows a “huge increase” in the funding of salaries for imprisoned terrorists and the families of “martyrs,” an Israeli research institute revealed on Wednesday.
According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), the amount of money allocated by the PA for payments to terrorists jailed in Israel rose 13% this year to $158 million — compared to $135 million in 2016. During the same time frame, disbursements for family members of dead terrorists increased by 4% — to $197 million from $183 million.
Overall, PMW said, the PA is spending $355 million this year on the direct funding of terrorism.
Itamar Marcus — the founder and director of PMW — told The Algemeiner on Wednesday, “There is no greater promotion of terror then the PA’s financially rewarding terrorists who have murdered Israelis. However it is critical to understand why the PA pays the salaries and why they refuse to stop. The PA claims that they have a right under international law to ‘resist’ Israel and that includes murdering Israelis. They argue to their own people that to stop paying the salaries to prisoners would be to admit that all of the prisoners including murderers of women and children are terrorists and not legitimate ‘freedom fighters.’ Accordingly, as horrific as the PA’s rewarding terror is, it is a symptom of a much deeper problem. The essential problem is that the PA tells its people they have a right to kill Israelis. Paying salaries to the killers who get caught and are imprisoned is a symptom.”
Marcus continued, “This is a slap in the face to the United States and the other European donor countries who have all condemned this practice and have demanded that the PA stop immediately if they want to receive foreign funding. I expect that this information will have a great effect on the Taylor Force Act right now before Congress.”
The Taylor Force Act referred to by Marcus would, if passed, cut off American funding of the PA if the terror payments are not halted. The legislation is currently being considered by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Fact: The Palestinian Authority (PA) will pay $355 million this year to terrorists who have murdered or attempted to murder innocent Israelis and the families of those terrorists.
Fact: The U.S. is considering legislation that would stop funding the PA if payments to terrorists continue.
Fact: People who love Yahweh and Israel need to contact their members of the House and Senate and let their elected officials know that they support the Taylor Force Act.
It’s shameful that the U.S. and Europe fund terrorist attacks in Israel by virtue of the fact that they support the Palestinian Authority. The murders of two Israeli police officers beside the Temple Mount a few days ago are the most recent examples. Funding must stop.
The duplicity of Palestinian leaders is the stuff of legend. Verification is key. Backdoor channels for the flow of funds to terrorists and their families must be cut off as well.
Under no conditions should the U.S. attempt to pressure Israel to make any concessions to the PA in order to achieve “peace”. The Oslo Accords have taught us that lesson.
Right now, the PA is inciting violence in Jerusalem because Israel installed metal detectors at Temple Mount entrances for Muslims. That was a security measure following the murder of 2 Israeli police officers near the Temple Mount a week ago. After the Palestinian terrorists completed their dirty work, they ran to the Temple Mount for cover.
In response to the installation of metal detectors, Palestinians have been protesting for more than a week. Israel, expecting violent protests during Friday prayers, prepared to deploy hundreds of soldiers on and around the Temple Mount for even more security.
That’s the Palestinian Two-Step in action. It accompanies every new peace initiative. It works like this: provoke, wait for a response, protest, scream for help from other Muslims, escalate the violence. It’s a Palestinian attempt to broaden the scope of their dirty dealing by involving Muslims who are not Palestinians.
President Trump, don’t take the bait. Other presidents have, and the cost to Israel has been extremely high in lives and shekels.
The video below shows the terrorists who murdered the Israeli police officers a few days ago taking their weapons to Al-Aqsa Mosque. They were not acting alone.

- First, the security measures, including the placement of the metal detectors, was not an Israeli initiative but came as a direct and necessary response to a specific terror attack. The Israeli government did not convene and take a decision to install the metal detectors in order to alter the status quo or stop Muslims from praying.
- Second, it was the Palestinians who took the decision not to enter into the Temple Mount unless the metal detectors are removed. The Palestinians and the Waqf are lying to the world by telling it that Israel is denying Muslims access to their holy sites.
Palestinian leaders’ lies are so obvious that it’s painful to hear them speak. It concerns me that world leaders buy their lies even though they know the truth.
Satan has many followers in political circles globally.
