Who is Linda Sarsour and why should you not believe her?
I am writing about Linda Sarsour for 4 reasons:
- She is a Palestinian-American political activist. She is presenting the Palestinian narrative. Her goal is the same as the goals of Hamas and Fatah: the destruction of Israel.
- She is getting lots of media attention, much more attention than she deserves.
- She is a Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) activist whose mission is to wipe Israel off the map. That’s what the BDS movement is all about.
- She has become the latest darling of the Democrat Party.
Today, Sarsour is what Sandra Fluke (pronounced Fluck) was a few years ago. Fluke became a Democrat darling by championing a movement to force Catholic Universities to offer birth control to their students even though the Catholic Church doesn’t support birth control as a matter of religious conviction. Sarsour is championing another cause with which the Democrat Party is in complete agreement: doing as much damage to Israel as they can until the tiny Jewish State no longer exists.
Sarsour has embraced the Democrat narrative because she wants their support, and she’s getting it. She and the Democrat Party are telling us that people who disagree with their views are oppressors, fascists, white supremacists, and Islamophobes. That reasoning sells well with the Democrat base, but they represent only about 30% of the population. Both Sarsour and the Democrat Party are doing their utmost to hoodwink enough decent people so they can win an election.
I can’t sit by idly and let that happen. With that thought in mind, please watch the video below. It begins with Sarsour laying out her case before an audience. Then it moves to a discussion about what she said. The discussants are Ben Shapiro and Hassan Shibly, Executive Director of CAIR Florida:
It should be obvious that Sarsour and Shibly are dissemblers. They are trying to convince us that their lies are the truth. Their only hope for success is that we are so ignorant that we accept what they say without doing due diligence.
Ben Shapiro was right. Jihad means violent overthrow of institutions that can’t be cowered into submission by terrorists. CAIR is an American Islamist group that supports terrorist organizations like Hamas and receives funding from them.
Those facts should tell us all we need to know, and this is what we know: Sarsour and Shibly are lying.
Below is an excerpt from an article that appeared in The Algemeiner. The title is “Director of Colorado Jewish Cemetery Promised $100,000 by BDS Activist Linda Sarsour in March 2017 Says Money Still Hasn’t Arrived”:
A Jewish cemetery in Colorado that has fallen into severe disrepair has yet to receive a check for some $100,000 from a group associated with Palestinian-American BDS activist Linda Sarsour, despite being promised the money several months ago, The Algemeiner learned on Tuesday.
Neil Price of the Golden Hill Cemetery in Lakewood, CO said he had left three unreturned voicemails for Tarek El-Messidi, the founder of non-profit Islamic education organization Celebrate Mercy, who led the high-profile effort by the Muslim community in February and March to raise money for vandalized Jewish cemeteries in the US. El-Messidi’s partner in the effort was Sarsour.
I said that Sarsour and Shibly are not telling the truth. This article provides one piece of evidence. There are mountains of evidence that prove they are duplicitous.
Don’t take their bait. The Democrat Party will be their champion. There is nothing I can do about that, but I can alert you to the dishonesty of people like Sarsour and Shibly.
They want to turn your world upside-down and get you to support things that are evil. They like to mention the KKK because of what it stands for, but they make the KKK look like the Girl Scouts. Don’t be deceived by their lies.

Change that Yahweh calls “good” begins in the hearts of believers—people who are recognizable because they are different.
We are different because we belong to Him and are called by His Name. We are Yahweh’s people, His followers.
