Theresa May has vowed that “hatred and evil” of the kind seen in the terror attack on a north London mosque that left one man dead and 10 injured will never succeed.
A van was rammed into worshippers helping an elderly man who had collapsed in the early hours, before the driver is said to have screamed: “I’m going to kill all Muslims”.
Speaking after a meeting with security officials and ministers in the Government’s Cobra emergency committee, the Prime Minister confirmed that police believe the attacker who drove into people near Finsbury Park Mosque had acted alone.

Vigilante justice is a direct result of governments failing to do their most basic job: protecting their citizens. The attack in London discussed in this SnyderTalk lead headline is an example of vigilante justice.
Most Britons know that their government has failed them. Those who don’t know are clueless.
With each new terrorist attack, more Brits wake up to reality. Eventually, a tipping point is reached, and criminal types masquerading as enforcers take advantage of the opportunity to ply their trade with pubic support.
Great Britain has passed the tipping point. Other European countries aren’t far behind.
Germany is a perfect example. See “Germany: Police Powerless Against Middle Eastern Crime Gangs”.
If German police believe they are powerless, people will do what they think they must do to protect themselves. Decent, law-abiding citizens aren’t a problem, but others are. There are plenty of potential vigilantes in every country waiting for the opportunity to attack.
It’s time for government officials in Europe to step up to the plate and do their jobs. If they can’t or won’t, more random acts of violence will be substituted for effective law enforcement. When that happens, chaos ensues and everyone is in danger.
Regrettably, we can expect more vigilante justice in Europe and the United States. It’s foolish for government officials to blame decent, law-abiding citizens for protecting themselves when their governments fail them. Calling them nasty names like Islamophobes only makes matters worse.
A phobia is an irrational fear. There is nothing irrational about fearing Islamist terror. People who don’t know that are idiots. They should not be in positions of power.
This is my advice: now is the time to prepare to defend yourself if you aren’t prepared already. It will take governments in Europe and the United States awhile to get their acts together after they finally realize that they must act.
We aren’t there yet. Western governments still don’t know that they are the problem.

I hope that people around the world will begin to tell the truth about Israel, but I feel compelled to say this: “gay pride” is nothing to be proud of. The Israeli people are trying to show the world that they are open and tolerant, but tolerating depravity is nothing to brag about.
There will be a vigilante backlash in Israel if government officials don’t do their jobs.
