Jerusalem Post—Ahead of Visit to Israel and PA Haley says US Future in UNHRC Undecided:
US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley will visit Israel from June 7-9 during which time she is expected to hold meetings with Israeli and Palestinian leaders and observe UN operations in the region.
At a recent press briefing, Haley said the trip will be centered around the issue of the UN Human Rights Council.
Prior to her visit to Israel, Haley will make a stop in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 6, where she will be the first US Permanent Representative to the UN to address the Council. She also will deliver a speech at the Graduate Institute in Geneva in which she will lay out the US’s position on future involvement with the Human Rights Council.
“Going to Geneva we’ll be talking to the Human Rights Council about what we think they do well, what we think is not productive and if there is some reform that can happen out of that,” she said.
“Based off of that, because there’s [sic] so many issues that happen on the Human Rights Council with Israel, I’ll be going to Israel.”
Haley added that the US has not yet made a decision regarding whether or not it will remain a member of the UNHRC.
“Part of me going there really is to analyze the situation, which is kind of what we’ve looked up to, to talk with them and see if there’s any willingness to move, and then we’ll make a decision,” she told the press.
A Foreign Ministry source who shared Haley’s Israel itinerary with The Jerusalem Post earlier this week said she will begin her visit in Jerusalem where she will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin. Haley will also tour Israel’s Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem and the Jerusalem’s Old City.
She will then head north to a location overlooking the borders with Lebanon and Syria where she will receive security briefings from Israeli military officials.

Despite what we see, hear, and read in the mainstream media, President Trump is doing a terrific job. He is moving the U.S. away from positions that are fundamentally flawed. Each step he takes is met with fierce resistance because of vested interests.
Those seeking greater wealth have a vested interest in programs that they helped to put in place, programs that cost U.S. taxpayers a fortune and line the pockets of those with vested interests. Political power seekers have a vested interest in keeping the wealth seekers happy. The happier the really rich are, the more money they send to power seekers who can help to make them even richer.
As I said, U.S. taxpayers foot the bill, but collectively, they don’t seem to care.
The Paris Climate Accord is a perfect example. Climate change has become the religion of the left. Right now, it attracts more of their attention than homosexuality, other sexual perversions, and abortion—the traditional Democrat mainstays.
President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord was the right one. John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, was among those who applauded Trump’s decision.
Coleman is not a dilettante when it comes to the climate. His views are identical to those of Professor Ivar Giaever, the 1973 Nobel Prizewinner for Physics. In the video below, Giaever explains that real science has been rejected by leftists in favor of what he calls “pseudoscience” so that wealth seekers can get richer and power seekers can exert more influence over our lives:
Meanwhile at the U.N.
U.N. Ambassador Haley is turning out to be a shining star in the Trump cabinet. She has done an exemplary job at the U.N., and right now she is gathering information that will enable President Trump to make informed decisions on Israel.
Let’s pray that she does her job well and that President Trump sees the complete truth.
Making the right decisions on Israel will cause Democrats and other leftists to howl even loader. Most European leaders will join in the chorus. So will the mainstream media.
President Trump’s job won’t be easy. They will make sure of it.
As I have said before, Democrats and other leftists can’t win on their own. They need support from decent people. Don’t be a part of their efforts in any way. Even when what they say sounds good, it isn’t. They always have ulterior motives—always.
