Jerusalem Post—Settler leader takes Anne Frank Center to task over anti-Semitism:

Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan attacked the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect, after it criticized US President Donald Trump for failing to take a strong stand on antisemitism.

Trump “has proven time and again his commitment to the Jewish people and the State of Israel,” Dagan said. It’s “absurd” for the center to “attack the most supportive leader the Jewish people and the State of Israel have ever had,” he continued.

He spoke out after the New York based human rights organization sharply criticized Trump for his delayed response to antisemitic attacks that have occurred in the United States since he took office on January 20.

“The president’s sudden acknowledgment is a Band-Aid on the cancer of antisemitism that has infected his own administration,” the center’s executive director, Steven Goldstein, said on Tuesday.

“His statement today is a pathetic asterisk of condescension after weeks in which he and his staff have committed grotesque acts and omissions reflecting antisemitism, yet day after day have refused to apologize and correct the record.

Make no mistake: The antisemitism coming out of this administration is the worst we have ever seen from any administration.

“The White House repeatedly refused to mention Jews in its Holocaust remembrance, and had the audacity to take offense when the world pointed out the ramifications of Holocaust denial.

And it was only yesterday, President’s Day, that Jewish community centers across the nation received bomb threats, and the president said absolutely nothing.

SnyderTalk Comment:

A few days ago in Switching Gears (it’s part of a SnyderTalk comment), I mentioned that Steven Goldstein, Executive Director of the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect, had made caustic remarks about President Trump’s alleged anti-Semitism.  My antennae are hypersensitive and finely tuned.  I pick up on anti-Semitic signals of all sorts, including the kind that you see coming from orthodox Jews who refuse to accept the legitimacy of the State of Israel.

I have neither seen nor heard anything that resembles anti-Semitism coming out of the Trump administration.  Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan feels the same way I do.  So does former Israeli ambassador to Washington, Michael Oren.  He said,

“Those who charge US President Donald Trump with fueling right-wing anti-Semitism should recall that no one had accused his predecessor, Barack Obama, of spurring anti-Semitism from the left…Obviously there is problem with anti-Semitism and we have to take it seriously. But there is anti-Semitism on the left, and nobody blamed Obama for that. During my time in Washington [as Israeli ambassador], I never encountered right-wing anti-Semitism, but I experienced a lot of anti-Semitism, mainly on campuses. Ask Jewish students in America if they fear anti-Semitism. They do — not from the right, but from the left.”

I believe Steven Goldstein is a Democrat first and foremost.  He is using his perch to do what Democrats do.  He’s part of the problem, but he can’t see it.

Yahweh has a word for people like him: hypocrite.  There you go, Mr. Goldstein.  I hope you enjoy your 15 minutes of fame while it lasts.

Take a look at this video and you’ll see how messed up things are, especially in Europe:

“If My people who are called by My Name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7: 14)

Change that Yahweh calls “good” begins in the hearts of believers—people who are recognizable because they are different.

We are different because we belong to Him and are called by His Name.  We are Yahweh’s people, His followers.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
