Breitbart—In a new study of President Obama’s legacy, the Pew Research Center found that religious affiliation and practice dropped off dramatically during his two terms in the White House:

“When it comes to the nation’s religious identity, the biggest trend during Obama’s presidency is the rise of those who claim no religion at all,” Pew notes in a report released this week titled “How America Changed During Barack Obama’s Presidency.”

When Barack Obama took office, those who identified as atheists or agnostics along with those who said their religion was “nothing in particular” totaled only 16 percent of the U.S. adult population. On leaving office 8 years later, the non-religious in America now make up nearly a quarter of the population.

On the contrary, the percentage of Americans who say they believe in God, consider religion to be very important in their lives, pray daily and attend religious services at least monthly have all dropped during the Obama years, Pew found.

America’s largest religious demographic, those who self-identify as Christians, plunged from 78 percent of the U.S. adult population to 71 percent 8 years later, and the majority of these losses taken place among adults who identify with mainline Protestantism and Catholicism. Evangelical Protestantism along with historically black Christian denominations have remained comparably stable.

During his 8 years as president, Obama nettled religious conservatives over and over with moves that seemed calculated to undermine religious liberty.

According to Tim Schultz, the president of the 1st Amendment Partnership, the Obama administration often viewed religion as an enemy standing in the way of their policy objectives.

SnyderTalk Comment:

A very large percentage of the population thinks religion is a substitute for faithfulness.  Obviously, Pew Research equates the two.

During Obama’s term of office, a very large number of people in the United States stopped pretending that Yahweh matters.  Pretending is what they were doing all along.  Obama gave them a reason to abandon pretense.

That’s a good thing.  It will make it easier to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Thanks to Obama, we now have a political party in the U.S. that has gone on record booing Yahweh.  They have legitimized sodomy and are working tirelessly to make it an integral part of the fabric of our society.  They glorify murdering unborn children.  There is no limit to their perversion.

It’s the Democrat Party.  Obama is the titular head of the party.  That’s as it should be.

People who profess to have faith in Yahweh while they support the Democrat Party and people like Barack Obama are making a huge mistake.  It’s like admitting that you are a Nazi and saying that you love Jewish people.  It doesn’t make any sense.

I have a pet peeve.  It really annoys me when people who don’t have a clue what faithfulness is have the audacity to tell others what “being a Christian” means.

Yahweh is not an “anything goes” Elohim.  Grace is not a license to sin with impunity.  What we do, think, and say matter.

As president, Obama was notorious for telling us what “being a Christian” means as though he knew.  Concerning Obama, I’ll quote the Messiah:

“You can tell a tree by its fruit.”

Obama’s fruit is rotten.  So is the Democrat Party’s fruit.

That’s not a political statement.  It’s a statement of facts.

“If My people who are called by My Name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7: 14)

Change that Yahweh calls “good” begins in the hearts of believers—people who are recognizable because they are different.

We are different because we belong to Him and are called by His Name.  We are Yahweh’s people, His followers.

Tolerating everything means believing nothing.

Religions were not created equal.
