U.N. Security Council Resolution 2334: we live in a wacky world

Europe is filled with anti-Semitic hate: “UnCorked: Ireland’s Pseudo-Academic Anti-Israel Hate-Fest”.  Facts are irrelevant.  Opinions, no matter how off-the-wall they are, carry the day.

Some really intelligent Jewish people who understand the consequences of U.N. Security Council Resolution 2334 don’t appreciate how loathsome it is to Yahweh who has the exclusive right to determine ownership of the Promised Land: “Bernard-Henri Lévy: Israel, Obama and the United Nations”.  It’s as though they don’t understand that Yahweh and no one else is the Ultimate Sovereign.

They praise opposition to Resolution 2334 and still profess to support the Two-State Solution: “Israeli Leaders, US Jewish Groups Praise House of Representatives’ Condemnation of Anti-Settlement UN Security Council Resolution”.  That doesn’t make any sense.  It’s ludicrous.

Some say that Resolution 2334 is a victory for jihadism: “UN Security Council Res. 2334: A Victory of Jihadism”.  That’s not correct.  It’s a victory for evil.  Satan has been targeting Judah since Yahweh decided to deliver His message and His salvation/deliverance to the world through his line.  The other Children of Israel have been targeted as well, but not nearly to the same degree that Judah has.  Judah will suffer because of that resolution.

I have no doubt about the eventual outcome.  Yahweh will prevail, but what about people who profess to believe Him while they reject virtually everything He said?  It won’t be pretty.

That’s not a nuanced statement, but when you try to explain it, far too many times you see blank expressions on people’s faces.  We live in a wacky world.

In the Tanach/Old Testament, how many times did Yahweh say, “Have faith in Me and obey My word”?  I don’t know the exact number, but He said it a lot.

Then why do so many people who claim to believe in Him reject His word?  It’s impossible to please Yahweh while you trample His word under your feet.

There are consequences for disobedience.  In the days ahead, U.N. Security Council Resolution 2334 will generate lots of negative consequences for Israel and for the rest of the world.  We are rushing toward a head-on collision with Yahweh.

Change that Yahweh calls “good” begins in the hearts of believers—people who are recognizable because they are different.

We are different because we belong to Him and are called by His Name.  We are Yahweh’s people, His followers.
