Obama is Preparing to Make Life Difficult for Donald Trump
Donald Trump’s relationship with Vladimir Putin will take center stage when it comes time for Rex Tillerson’s Senate confirmation as Secretary of State. I have problems with Tillerson, but his Putin connection is not one of them.
As head of Exxon, Tillerson bought into the “sodomy is just fine” way of thinking. He had the same problem at Boy Scouts of America.
Was Tillerson being politically correct as corporate chieftains are prone to do to avoid controversy, or is that what he really believes? To me, that’s an important question.
Even so, Russia will be the issue that Democrat’s use to skewer Tillerson. Obama is setting the stage for the Senate battle to come with his belated Russia sanctions. To date, I have seen no evidence that Putin directed anyone to interfere in the U.S. election. Unless that evidence is presented, I’m forced to conclude that it’s just another Democrat dirty trick.
Frequently, people try to hack SnyderTalk. So far, no one has been successful. Regularly, I receive reports telling me the countries of origin for the attack attempts and the IP addresses of the hackers.
Russia is one of the leading countries from which hack attempts on SnyderTalk originate. Using Democrat logic, I could say that Putin is trying to hack SnyderTalk, but that’s ridiculous. I can’t substantiate that claim. All I know is that hack attempts emanate from Russia. That’s all Democrats know, too. If they had compelling evidence, they would present it.
Be that as it may, Obama is preparing to make life as difficult for Trump as he can. The Tillerson confirmation is part of his plan to undermine the Trump administration.
Obama’s betrayal of Israel in the U.N. Security Council is another example of the same thing. Obama would have been forceful on the “settlements” issue a long time ago, while he had time to make it part of his legacy, if “settlements” were a serious problem. As it is, he is simply trying to create problems for Trump at Israel’s expense. It’s petty politics at its worst.
For the record, I have problems with Vladimir Putin. His actions in Crimea, Ukraine, Syria, Iran, Israel, and the entire Middle East raise serious questions in my mind about what he is up to. That’s why I consider Russia under Putin to be part of what I call the TRIC nations—Turkey, Russia, Iran, and China.
Tillerson is head of Exxon, and Russia is a major oil-producing nation. It’s natural that Tillerson and Putin would work together. The sodomy issue is another story.
Trump is no fool. His national security team is made up of people who have vast experience and depth of knowledge about Russia. If I can see potential problems, I know they can.
I’m willing to give Team Trump a chance to do what Obama and Hillary couldn’t do. If Trump’s team makes what appear to me to be serious mistakes, I’ll be quick to point them out. In the meantime, I’m willing to let Trump do his job.
That’s something that Obama, the Democrat Party, and Democrat loyalists in the mainstream media won’t do.
Expect the New York Times and the Washington Post, for example, to lead an assault against the Trump administration under the direction of Obama and Clinton. Lesser lights at places like CNBC, people like John Harwood for instance, will take to the airwaves. In their smug way, they will try to portray every move that Trump makes as amateurish, diabolical, and dangerous.
It’s called building support and momentum among the uninformed masses. It’s the heart and soul of Democrat politics. It’s Obama’s version of community organizing.
In the Democrat world, Hillary and Obama were and are supremely qualified despite mountains of hard evidence to the contrary. In their eyes, anyone else is little more than a flunkie no matter how much he has accomplished.
We need to keep our eyes open. These are difficult times. Mistakes at this stage of the game will be very costly. Donald Trump needs our prayers and our support. He also needs to hear from us.
We need to let our voices be heard. From Yahweh’s perspective, silence is consent.
