Soeren Kern—Europe: Sharia-Compliant Fashion Goes Mainstream:

The decision by a British department store to include Sharia-compliant bathing suits in its summer swimwear collection has ignited a debate over the “mainstreaming” of Islamic fashion in Europe.

Marks & Spencer (M&S), the iconic British retail chain, is now marketing the burkini, a full-length swimsuit ostensibly designed to protect the modesty of Muslim women.

Supporters of the move say it “liberates” Muslim women in Europe by giving them the choice to wear whatever they want. Detractors argue the exact opposite: they say the burkini “enslaves” Muslim women, many of whom are facing mounting pressure to submit to Islamic dress codes, even though they are citizens of secular European states.

SnyderTalk Comment:

I’ve said this many times. Europe as we knew it is history.

By itself, Sharia-compliant fashion is a small thing, but when you look at the totality of developments in Europe, the picture becomes clear.

Where Sharia compliance is, terror is bound to follow. It’s a natural progression, and it’s part of the Islamist plan to take over the world.

Do you remember the story about the frog that was placed in a pot of cool water?  It could have hopped out at any time, but it didn’t because the water was so comfortable.

Eventually, the water got hot, but the frog didn’t react because the rise in temperature was so gradual.

The frog ended up dying.

And there you have it.

16--Mystery of the Name

When I wrote His Name is Yahweh, I was amazed at the number of references to Yahweh’s Name that escape the notice of even the most Bible literate Christians.

Yahweh’s Name is hidden in plain sight.

For example, take a look at this passage from Acts:

As we were staying there for some days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. And coming to us, he took Paul’s belt and bound his own feet and hands, and said, “This is what the Holy Spirit says: ‘In this way the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’” When we had heard this, we as well as the local residents began begging him [Paul] not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” And since he would not be persuaded, we fell silent, remarking, “The will of the Lord be done!” (Acts 21: 10-14)

Those who haven’t read His Name is Yahweh may not realize that the Messiah was convicted and crucified for committing blasphemy.  At that time, the precise definition of blasphemy was saying the Name Yahweh.

Only religious Jews were allowed to say the Name and only on special occasions.  Ordinary Jewish people were afraid to say it because they knew the consequence.

In Acts 21: 10-14, Paul was telling Agabus and the others who were with him that day that he knew what he had to do and that he was willing to do it no matter what the cost.

Exactly what did Paul have to do?

He had to tell people that the Messiah is Yahweh.  That was his mission.

And there you have it.

Question: why don’t people hear this message in most churches today?

Answer: most preachers aren’t doing their job.

That’s dereliction of duty.  Our mission as believers is to tell the world about Yahweh by Name.  People need to know their Savior by Name because we have salvation in Yahweh’s Name alone.

That’s not my opinion.  That’s what Yahweh said; that’s what the prophets said; and that’s what the Holy Spirit says.

Inscriptions dating to 600 BCE suggest widespread literacy at the time of Kingdom of Judah, say Tel Aviv University researchers.

2: Prof. Phyllis Chesler—A slow motion train wreck with no one to stop it:

We are watching the end of Western civilization unfold unless we begin to engage in cognitive warfare against those out to destroy it.

3: Tara Bahrampour—What did Americans know as the Holocaust unfolded? Quite a lot, it turns out:

Growing up in Lowell, Massachusetts, in the 1950s and ’60s, Andrea Hoffman learned about the Holocaust at Hebrew school, and later married into a family that included Holocaust survivors. Along the way, certain questions haunted her.

“I’ve always wondered what people knew, when did they know it, how did they know it?” said Hoffman, 65. Her mother had been a teenager in Boston during the war, but had not paid much attention to the persecution of Jews in Europe at the time, and Hoffman was curious to know how aware her mother and others in the United States would have been.

A judge in central China ruled against a gay couple in China’s first-ever same-sex marriage case Wednesday, effectively hobbling a case that has electrified the country’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender activists.

Heathens are refusing to accept sodomy as an alternate lifestyle while many Christian churches are embracing it.

What does that tell us?

5: The AtlanticPanama Papers: The Mossack Fonseca Investigations Begin:

Last month, a group of international journalists gathered outside of the headquarters of Mossack Fonseca in Panama City, waiting for someone from the law firm to come out and speak to them. Now, prosecutors have raided those offices, prompted by news reports that placed the firm at the center of an offshore-finance scandal that spans continents.

7: Michael Birnbaum—Weeks after “Pullout” from Syria, Russian Military Is as Busy as Ever:

Despite Russian President Vladimir Putin’s March 14 announcement that cut short Russia’s Syrian deployment, the current level of activity would suggest that the pullout has been minor at best. Russian minesweepers are checking Palmyra’s ancient ruins for explosives. Russian military advisers are whipping Syrian government forces into shape and planning attacks. Russian special forces are on the front lines, calling in targeting information for airstrikes. And Russian warships continue to deliver supplies to Assad.

8: Hillel Frisch—PA, Aided by EU, Working to Change Demographics of Jerusalem Area:

The PA, with the help of the EU, has succeeded in housing 120,000 Palestinians in recent years in a 9-sq.-km. area mostly within the official boundaries of Jerusalem. Umm Ishak al-Kaluti told Palestinian media that ten years ago she owned one of the few homes on this once barren hill, now the site of hundreds of six-to-ten-storey apartment buildings. All of this construction is illegal, a senior officer in the Border Police in charge of security in the area confirmed.

9: Prof. Louis René Beres—Still makes no sense: Supporting ‘Palestine’ while opposing Jihad:

At his recent Washington summit on nuclear security, President Barack Obama correctly identified the looming threat of nuclear terrorism.[1] Nonetheless, the president continues to believe that he can simultaneously oppose Islamic radicalism and support Palestinian statehood. Such an ironic belief, it is easy to explain, makes no logical sense.  A Palestinian state –  any Palestinian state – would undoubtedly become another conspicuous addition to our extant list of Jihadist foes.

Palestine, therefore, would also become another possible nation-based source of anti-American nuclear terrorism.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
