The Next President will Define Our Nation’s Global Role for Decades to Come

The world is a dangerous place, and it’s getting more dangerous every day.  Those are indisputable facts.

Even so, the U.S. is through playing the role of global cop at our expense.  It’s costing us a fortune, and we can’t afford it.

No matter who is elected president in 2016, things are going to change.  I say that with trepidation because some nation will assume the leadership position.

Will it be Russia?  Will it be China?  I don’t know for sure, but the U.S. can’t continue funding an ill-conceived welfare state and at the same time do the things that global leadership requires.

There are tradeoffs.  We have decided that doling out taxpayer money to U.S. citizens and others and expecting little or nothing in return is the way to go.  Our nation’s irresponsible largess is mindboggling.

The next president will be the person who defines our nation’s global role for decades to come.  Donald Trump is best qualified to do that job.

Saul Alinsky was a Marxist/socialist community organizer who dedicated his life to destroying the American way of life.  Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are Alinsky acolytes.  Both of them have followed his dictates to the letter.

In his book Rules for Radicals, Alinsky laid out his principles in no uncertain terms.  For example,

  • Dedication—“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”
  • Prologue—”The Revolutionary force today has two targets, moral as well as material. Its young protagonists are one moment reminiscent of the idealistic early Christians, yet they also urge violence and cry, ‘Burn the system down!’ They have no illusions about the system, but plenty of illusions about the way to change our world. It is to this point that I have written this book.”
  • Purpose—”A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage — the political paradise of communism.”
  • Means and Ends—”The third rule of ethics of means and ends is that in war the end justifies almost any means….”

One Alinsky tactic is to provoke disturbances hoping that violence ensues and then to pretend to be the victim.  That’s what Palestinians do every day.  Ignorant and naïve Westerners buy their lies and Israel suffers as a result.

The same kind of thing is happening right now in the United States.  Obama, Clinton, and Sanders supporters are infiltrating Trump rallies and provoking violence because they know that he is the likely GOP presidential candidate.

For example, see “Trump supporters, protesters clash after Chicago rally postponed” and “Man tries to breach security line at Trump rally“.

See “Trump resumes campaign events after violence, GOP rivals call for end to chaos”. Rubio said that he is unsure he could support Trump if he becomes the GOP nominee.  Cruz blamed Trump’s campaign for the problem.  Rubio is behaving childishly and Cruz is wrong.

It’s one thing for ignorant people to believe the lies, but it’s much worse when people who should know better take advantage of the lies for personal or political gain.

See “Rubio: ‘There is no doubt’ Obama helped stoke recent political chaos”.  Of course, Obama played a role.  He has been inciting violence since the day he took office.

Why did Rubio blame Trump for the violence that Obama and his co-conspirators instigated?  It makes no sense.

See “Trump blames Sanders supporters for Chicago unrest; protester tries to rush stage”.  It’s an Alinsky tactic.  Obama, Clinton, and Sanders are in his camp.  So are people who vote for them whether they know it or not.

We’ve had enough of this nonsense.  For the past 7+ years, Barack Obama has applied Alinsky’s rules.  Hillary Clinton wants to extend Obama’s legacy.  Bernie Sanders is cut from the same bolt of cloth.

For all practical purposes, the Democrat Party has become Marxist/socialist. A vote for Clinton is a vote to destroy everything this nation stands for.  She wants to create a “dictatorship of the proletariat”, Alinsky style.  We know from history that that’s a formula for disaster.

1: Elena Servettaz—How To Be a Jew in France:

The Marais neighborhood in Paris’s 4th arrondissement has long been known as the Jewish quarter, though it is also popular with the gay community—most Jewish shops and businesses close for Sabbath. But on a recent Saturday on rue des Rosiers, at Florence Kahn’s shop, which is famous for its Russian and Central European Jewish cuisine, people were queuing, seemingly unaware it was Shabbat. “One apple strudel, a slice of cheesecake, and half a pound of pastrami please,” a mother of two said to the assistant behind the counter. Surprised, I asked her if serving meat and dairy together means the establishment is not kosher. “Of course, it is kosher!” replied the shop assistant, offended. “But not approved by the beit din, it depends on people: Some consider it kosher and some don’t.” An old man behind me joked that the fact that Florence Kahn’s shop opens on Saturdays might help protect them from anti-Semitic vandals.

Being a Jew in France is no longer easy. Anxiety is in the air even if the State has guaranteed our protection. Gripes about Jews being everywhere in the French media, banks, and “even in government” are commonplace. It became normal to demonstrate with pro-Palestinian slogans in the streets and blame French Jews for Israel’s actions, which are typically reported as monstrous. We are still a long way from the Dreyfus Affair, but there’s a new wave of anti-Semitism in France, which is often packaged as anti-Zionism, but employs all the classical tropes. It is easy to forget which kind of anti-Semitism is which. First there was stand-up comedian Dieudonné’s inflammatory act, which mocked the Holocaust, prompting Prime Minister Manuel Valls to ban his shows for racism and anti-Semitism. Many French people, particularly Dieudonné’s fans, saw this as a “Jewish conspiracy.” There are everyday physical attacks in the street. The result is a familiar kind of fear.

SnyderTalk Comment: Jewish people living in France should carefully consider going home to Israel.  Lies about Israel and Jews have taken hold in France.  Things will get worse going forward.

France is no longer safe for Jews.  Decision time has arrived.

2: HaaretzObama’s Tortuous Ties With Benjamin Netanyahu, Inside Out:

Benjamin Netanyahu is hardly the first Israeli prime minister to lecture an American president. Menachem Begin often drove Jimmy Carter crazy with his long-winded speeches on the legacy of the Holocaust and the history of Judea and Samaria. Yitzhak Rabin barely left time for questions after he finished dissecting the Middle East for Bill Clinton; Ehud Barak was no different, possibly even worse, because he spoke five times faster. And before they became the best of friends, Ariel Sharon exasperated Bush Jr. by reading from prepared index cards and hardly letting the U.S. President get a word in edgewise.

Netanyahu’s lectures, nonetheless, seem to aggravate American presidents more. At their first meeting in 1996, Netanyahu admonished Clinton and his aides on their wrongheaded views of Palestinians, after which Clinton famously fumed that the Israeli prime minister doesn’t seem to know “Who’s the fucking superpower here.” As Jeffrey Goldberg reveals in his monumental magnum opus on “The Obama Doctrine” Obama felt much the same way, though his reaction was dramatically different. “I’m the African American son of a single mother, and I live here, in this house. I live in the White House. I managed to get elected president of the United States. You think I don’t understand what you’re talking about, but I do,” was Obama’s reported retort.

SnyderTalk Comment: The next U.S. president needs to pay more attention to the Israeli prime minister.  Israeli’s know more than we do about Arabs in general and Palestinians in particular.  They live together in a dangerous part of the world.  Because of hard work and ingenuity, Israel has thrived.

Israel is moving down the right path.  Palestinians are not.

3: Nathan Gardels—Turkey Is ‘Sliding Backwards,’ Says Top Turkish Novelist:

Turkey is being shaken by a number of crises at once — from the massive influx of Syrian refugees, the fight with the Kurds and now the crackdown on free expression, including the seizure of the country’s leading paper, Zaman. What is going on?

Turkey is going through a deep, dizzying, dangerous social and political transformation. So much is happening so fast there is no time to stop and think and analyze. Abnormalities have become the new normal.

Turkey’s ruling elite from President [Recep Tayyip] Erdoğan’s AKP, or Justice [and] Development Party, has been confusing “democracy” with “majoritarianism.” Democracy is not only about the ballot box and the number of votes. That’s only one of the essentials. Democracy is also about rule of law, separation of powers, a free, diverse media, freedom of speech, women’s rights, minority rights. In all these respects, Turkey has been sliding backwards sadly. It is a very polarized country between those who are staunch supporters of Erdoğan and those who are against him. We have become a society of anger, paranoia, intimidation. And artists, writers, academics — people who have been trying to build bridges so as to promote coexistence and peace — know that they have lost big time.

SnyderTalk Comment: Don’t discount the importance of social, religious, and political changes in Turkey.  They will affect the Middle East in a profound way.

4: Democracy Now!As Trump Calls Himself “Very, Very Pro-Israel,” Rubio & Cruz Accuse Him of Being Too Neutral:

DONALD TRUMP: If—if I become president of the United States, one of the things that will be an absolute priority is, number one, protection of Israel, but also seeing if a deal can be made, the toughest deal, the toughest negotiation there probably is of any kind, no matter where you look, no matter how hard you look. But I would like to give it a shot. Very, very pro-Israel, nobody more pro-Israel. But I would love to give it a shot. And I have to tell you this, Hugh. I have friends, Israelis, non-Israelis, people from New York City that happen to be Jewish and love Israel. Every single—and some are very tough people. Every single one of them, they know it’s tough, but every single one of them wants to see if we could ever have peace in Israel. And some believe it’s possible. It may not be, in which case we’ll find out. But it would be a priority, if I become president, to see if I could do it.

SnyderTalk Comment: We need to pray for Donald Trump because he will be the next president.

5: The IndependentG4S leaving Israel shows that the boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign is winning:

G4S has finally announced that it will be selling its subsidiary, G4S Israel, “in the next 12 to 24 months”. The news has been greeted with jubilation from campaigners who have led a sustained boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaign against the organisation over the last four years.

According to a G4S spokesperson: “G4S provides and maintains technical equipment such as access systems, cameras and baggage screening machines in some Israeli prisons and at some crossing points along the separation barrier.”

The domination of G4S’ annual general meetings over several years by protests against the company’s involvement in Israeli prisons was undoubtedly a factor in the company’s announcement two years ago that it intended to pull out of Israeli prisons.

Not only have many student campaigns convinced their universities to drop G4S, but globally many organisations – public and private – have dropped G4S. At the end of last year Labour’s National Executive Committee decided to end their conference security contract with G4S following a discussion about their complicity with human rights abuses.

SnyderTalk Comment: The BDS movement is anti-Semitic to the core.  It is anti-Israel and anti-Yahweh.  Those who support BDS are taking a stand against Yahweh.

How BDS supporters see it doesn’t matter.  The way Yahweh sees it is the only thing that counts.

Warning: People who take sides against Yahweh will lose more than they can imagine.

6: AlgemeinerFormer Israeli Ambassador to the US Rejects Obama’s Middle East Policy Claims Made in ‘Atlantic’ Interview:

President Barack Obama’s recent claim about the real meaning of his 2009 Cairo speech “is patently unsubstantiated by the text,” former Israeli ambassador to the US Michael Oren told The Algemeiner on Thursday.

Oren, today a member of Knesset with the centrist Kulanu party, was responding to statements Obama made in an interview with Jeffrey Goldberg in the just-released April edition of The Atlantic.

“My argument was this,” Obama told Goldberg, “Let’s all stop pretending that the cause of the Middle East’s problems is Israel… We want to work to help achieve statehood and dignity for the Palestinians, but I was hoping that my speech could trigger a discussion, could create space for Muslims to address the real problems they are confronting — problems of governance, and the fact that some currents of Islam have not gone through a reformation that would help people adapt their religious doctrines to modernity.”

SnyderTalk Comment: Keep in mind that Obama is an Alinsky acolyte.  In his world, the ends justify the means.  Lying is his modus operandi.  The same is true for Hillary Clinton.

Those among us who are fixated on wealth creation and are willing do just about anything to increase their net worth need to understand that they won’t have two nickels to rub together in hell.

The old saying “you can’t take it with you” is true.

7: Dennis Prager—The World Is Getting Worse, But This Time America Won’t Save It:

I cannot imagine any thinking person who does not believe the world is getting worse.

The number of slaughtered and the number of refugees from slaughter is immense and growing.

Islamic State now controls territories from Afghanistan to West Africa. Libya is in the process of being added to that list. And other sadistic Islamist movements hold additional territory.

According to Pew Research, approximately 10 percent of world Muslims have a favorable opinion of the Islamic State and terror against civilians. That’s more than 100 million people.

The Iranian regime has just increased the reward it will give to anyone who murders Indian novelist Salman Rushdie, is increasing its repression at home, now has more than a hundred billion additional dollars to spend on terror and regularly calls for the annihilation of Israel.

Iran just received from Russia the most powerful anti-aircraft weapons that exist outside the United States, making a successful air attack on Iran almost impossible.

Europe is allowing in another million migrants from the Middle East, few of whom share Europe’s primary moral values. One consequence is that European women are being sexually attacked in increasing numbers. Another is that European countries are making criticism of Muslims or Islam — no matter how rational the critique — a crime punishable by jail time and/or fines.

The only thing stopping regular mass murder of Europeans and Americans is increased European and American police work. And no one believes that this will suffice to prevent future attacks.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
