Yehuda Glick: A Man of Faith

There is only one place on the planet about which Yahweh said this: “My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”  He was talking about Mount Moriah, or the Temple Mount:

“For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My Name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.” (2 Chronicles 7: 16.)

Yahweh spoke those words in 964 B.C.  Except for a 70-year interlude between 586 B.C and 516 B.C., Yahweh’s people made pilgrimages to the Temple Mount until the Romans destroyed the Temple in 70 A.D.

Yahweh’s promise never changed.  His people’s faith in Him did.

Today in Israel, Yehuda Glick stands out as a man who is faithful to Yahweh’s promise.  Because of his faith, a Palestinian terrorist tried to assassinate him, but he survived and remains committed.

Until a few days ago, the Israeli government prohibited Glick from visiting Yahweh’s holy hill.  See “Glick wins assault case, is allowed to return to Temple Mount”.

Below are several videos that I took in Jerusalem.  The first one was taken in front of Hurva Synagogue in the Old City of Jerusalem.  It shows Yehuda Glick giving a walking interview.  Katie and I passed them on our way to the Temple Mount, and we decided to take a break to capture the footage in the video. The other videos were taken on the Temple Mount.  Take a few moments and watch them:

There can be no doubt about the importance of Mount Moriah to Yahweh.  In the end, it will be the epicenter of the battle between Yahweh and His enemies.

It’s time for Yahweh’s people to demonstrate faith in Him, the kind of faith that Yehuda Glick has.

1: Anadolu AgencyS. African Muslim lawyers demand arrest of Israel’s Peres:

A Muslim lawyers association in South Africa has filed an official request with authorities to have former Israeli President Shimon Peres arrested when he arrives in the country this coming weekend for a fundraising event.

“We have launched a complaint with the South African Police Services (SAPS), the Hawks [specialized police services] and the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) to arrest Peres for war crimes and crimes against humanity,’’ attorney Yousha Tayob of the South African Muslim Lawyers Association (MLA) told Anadolu Agency Wednesday.

Tayob said Peres has committed numerous crimes such as his alleged involvement in Israel’s shelling of the southern Lebanese village of Qana in 1996.

SnyderTalk Comment: Palestinians never had a better friend in Israel than Shimon Peres. He is part of Israel’s liberal left.  They would give up just about anything to achieve “peace”.  They ignore the lying, the corruption, and the attacks on innocent Israeli civilians in hopes of achieving something that can’t happen, something that won’t happen.

From my perspective, Peres and others like him in Israel are eerily similar to the spies that Moses sent into the Promised Land as the Children of Israel were leaving Egypt.  What should have been a short trip turned into a 40-year wilderness journey because of them and the Israelites who believed their report.  (See Numbers chapters 13 and 14.)

In the eyes of a growing number of Muslims around the world, Palestinians have succeeded in making all of Israel and every Jewish person responsible for their so-called “plight”.  The Muslim lawyers’ association in South Africa is one example.

For background information, see the following:

Also see “A Palestinian State is Double Fraud”:

“Calling for the creation of a State of Palestine in 2011 is an obvious incitement to political fraud. It has all the hallmarks of what Robert Schuman, the Father of Europe and the EU, warned democrats would lead to a disaster.

‘Nothing is easier for political counterfeiters to exploit good principles for an illusion, and nothing is more disastrous than good principles that are badly applied.’ In that he was agreeing with two French philosophers, Bergson and Maritain.

In 1948 the government of the Holy Land changed its name from ‘Palestine’ to Israel. Previously it was the Jews who mainly bore the name Palestinians. The Arab population preferred to call themselves simply Arabs, or Bedouins, but more often villagers of a certain place. Nationalism was not a factor.”

The multifaceted Palestinian lie has taken hold.  We perpetuate it by pouring money into the Palestinian Authority.

In return for our generosity, Israel is victimized by Palestinian terrorists, and the Palestinian people are tortured.

See “U.S., Europe Fund Torture by Palestinian Authority”.

Yahweh’s people can’t afford to be ignorant about what is taking place in Israel.  He has arranged things so that the Promised Land and the chosen people are the focal points of global attention as the great and terrible Day of Yahweh approaches.

It’s happening now.  The South African Muslim Lawyers Association is part of it.

The time has come to choose sides.  The decision we make determines whose we are.

2: Washington PostWhy an Oscar-win for this documentary could raise questions for the U.S. government:

Few Americans are aware that as many as a million civilians were killed in Indonesia from 1965 to 1966. Perhaps fewer still are aware the United States supported the killers, rather than the victims. This year’s Academy Awards could change that.

“The Look of Silence” is the second documentary American Joshua Oppenheimer has made about the killings. Like the first, “The Act of Killing,” the film has been nominated for best documentary feature. While Oppenheimer is modest about his chances, an Oscar win for the film and the resulting publicity could be huge, bringing mainstream attention to Oppenheimer’s calls for the U.S. government to unseal classified documents that could reveal more about its role.

Oppenheimer was recently in Washington to promote the film, and he took some time out of his schedule to visit the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to ask them to support Sen. Tom Udall’s resolution for the United States to recognize its role, release the classified documents, and help Indonesia set up a truth commission to bring closure to the events. Oppenheimer is clear that he hopes that anyone who sees his documentary questions the U.S. role in it.

SnyderTalk Comment: Americans need to know a lot more about what their government has been up to since the end of World War II.  From economic, political, and religious perspectives, the U.S. done more to shape the world we live in today than any other country.

Most of the things we have done have been good for mankind.  Others have not.  Our actions in Indonesia are an example of misguided policies that resulted in large numbers of deaths of innocent people.

See “It is 50 years since the Indonesian massacre of 1965 but we cannot look away”.

Have you have ever wondered why Iranian leaders hate us so much?  You will find the answer by investigating the regime of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.  He was an Iranian dictator who brutalized his people.  His actions prompted the 1979 Iranian Revolution and led to the rise to power of today’s Islamist regime in Iran.

Our nation’s leaders from Franklin Roosevelt to Jimmy Carter ignored Pahlavi’s crimes because he was our puppet.  That’s why today’s Iranian leaders lead the chorus of those chanting “Death to America”.

Roosevelt was a Democrat.  Truman was a Democrat.  Eisenhower was a Republican.  Kennedy was a Democrat.  Johnson was a Democrat.  Nixon was a Republican.  Carter was a Democrat.

This is not a partisan political issue.  Democrats and Republicans are guilty, and the American people are paying the price.

Most Americans never knew the facts, but Iran’s leaders can’t forget them.  See “Big turnout as Iran votes to shape post-sanctions era”.

I’m not suggesting that we turn a blind eye to the atrocities being committed today by Iran in the name of Islam.  I’m pointing out that our actions over almost 4 decades contributed to their rise to power.

It’s been 71 years since WWII ended.  That seems like a long time because most of us were not alive in 1945, but to people whose families were subjected to torture over decades of time, vivid memories remain as festering sores.  Stories that have been passed down keep them alive.

The next time you see a picture of the World Trade Center towers coming down with a large caption on it that reads “Never Forget”, keep in mind that they never forget, either.

We can’t do anything about the past, but we can do something about the future.  The best course for us to take, the only safe course, is to follow the leading of Yahweh’s Spirit.  If we will do that, He will bless us.  If we refuse to follow Him, we will encounter His wrath.

3: Erez Linn—Obama’s remarks on Israel are ‘shameful’:

U.S. President Obama is drawing moral equivalence between habitual Palestinian incitement to terrorism and “extremely infrequent” Israeli attacks, thus downplaying the severity of Palestinian actions, veteran Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer said Friday.

Krauthammer’s statement came in response to Obama’s remarks Friday that “it is important for both Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu and Israeli elected officials, and [Palestinian Authority] President [Mahmoud] Abbas and other people in positions of power, to try to tamp down rhetoric that may feed violence or anger or misunderstanding.”

In an interview with Fox later that day, Krauthammer called Obama’s statement “shameful” and “a disgrace.”

“I think the president’s statement is shameful and it follows shameful statements by his secretary of state. This is moral equivalence — the idea that somehow the Israeli leadership, that Netanyahu is using inflammatory rhetoric,” he said.

SnyderTalk Comment: There is no moral equivalence between Israeli and Palestinian actions.

The Israeli people have built one of the world’s most advanced countries despite continual bombardment from Palestinians.  Developments in Israel have led to tremendous improvements in the quality of our lives including the lives of Palestinians.

Palestinians are best known for their acts of terrorism dating back to the creation of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1964.  They have become the world’s leading beggar group.  Were it not for ignorant donors, they couldn’t survive.

That’s not Israel’s fault.  Palestinians made their plight inevitable by making Israel’s destruction their reason for being.

It is a moral issue, for sure, but there is no moral equivalence.

Barack Obama’s remarks about Israel really were shameful, but so is he.  For that matter, so are Hillary Clinton and her husband.

This election is about to get ugly. See the video below.

It won’t be fun and games for smug pseudo-intellectuals who have a habit of brushing aside those who are willing to tell the truth.  It’s gone too far for that to work any longer.  There is a lot at stake, and everyone knows it.

4: TruNewsMuslim Brotherhood angry at Cruz legislation declaring them terrorists:

The Muslim Brotherhood is expressing anger and condemnation at presidential candidate and Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) and Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) for a bill they introduced to Congress.

The House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday cleared the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act, as reported by Breitbart.

“The Muslim Brotherhood’s embrace of terrorism and the very real threat it poses to American lives and the national security of the United States make it long overdue for designation,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) said in a statement.

SnyderTalk Comment: Skunks stink.  It may make them angry if you tell them that they stink, but they stink no matter how they feel about it.

Skunks stink naturally.  Muslim Brothers choose to be terrorists.

Ted Cruz told the truth.

5: Washington PostObama signs Israel anti-boycott provisions into law, settlements and all:

Congress recently passed the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015. The massive trade and customs bill contains, inter alia, provisions designed to oppose boycotts and similar economic warfare against Israel. Yesterday, President Obama signed the bill into law.

While signing it, he made a statement, objecting to parts of the law that oppose boycotts of Jewish Israeli enterprises in the West Bank and Golan Heights. (The law’s anti-boycott protections apply to “Israel” and “Israeli-controlled territories.”)

The actual effect of the signing statement, however, is nil. It does not in any way limit the reach or finality of the law. Indeed, the statement does not even purport that parts of the law are unconstitutional or unenforceable. Nor could the president easily have done so: Congress in passing the law used core Article I powers that the president cannot unilaterally restrict — in particular, the powers to regulate foreign commerce and the federal courts.

SnyderTalk Comment: There is a huge difference between Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and people who have faith in Yahweh.

Obama and Clinton do what they do and say what they say to win political support.  Their actions and words change in a heartbeat when they sense a political shift.

People of faith don’t do that.
