The Islamic State’s strategy to cause death and destruction in Europe
In an article for the Washington Post titled “The Islamic State’s strategy to cause death and destruction in Europe”, Rick Noack said,
Hopes for a year less defined by international terrorism threats were dashed Monday by the European law enforcement agency, which warned that there was “every reason” to expect future attacks in Europe.
Rob Wainwright, head of the European Police Office (Europol), said at a meeting of interior ministers that the Islamic State had “developed a new combat-style capability to carry out a campaign of large-scale terrorist attacks on a global stage, with a particular focus in Europe.” Apart from “lone wolf” attacks, Europe increasingly faces the prospect of large-scale, organized, mass terror attacks, according to the agency.
The meeting in Amsterdam was held amid heightened fears of terror attacks on European capitals similar to the ones in November in Paris. On Sunday, the Islamic State released a video that featured the Paris attackers and included footage showing some of them executing hostages.
“Expect a mujahid to show up to kill you,” the alleged ringleader of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, said in the video. Abaaoud was killed during a shootout with police in a Parisian suburb days after the attacks.
The video included general threats against Europe but also showed several landmarks in London, including the Tower Bridge — raising concerns about possible plans by the Islamic State to strike in Britain.
The fact that Islamists plan to destroy Europe is beginning to sink in. We know it because stories about it are appearing in major news outlets around the world including the Washington Post.
This “news” isn’t new. I’ve been talking about it for more than 20 years and writing about it for more than 10 years. Others have, too.
Most people don’t enjoy thinking about unpleasant things, and being butchered by a terrorist is unpleasant to say the least. Even so, burying our heads in the sand isn’t the right response.
Islamists are at war with us. We know that because they have told us and shown us.
Islamists are Muslims. We know that because they tell us and point to verses in the Quran that support everything they do.
Apologists for Islam sound more ridiculous each day as they trumpet their one-liners about “ordinary peaceful Muslims”. They are ordinary and peaceful because they aren’t real Muslims. They don’t believe the Quran, and they don’t do the things that the Quran says they must do.
Islamists are the only real Muslims.
Despite what we hear, we are not at war with Islamists. Some will argue that we are and will point to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria as examples.
Their logic is fatally flawed because we are using ad hoc, pinprick attacks against an enemy that is global, coordinated, and well-funded. Wars aren’t fought that way.
Our strategy is weak. It’s so weak, in fact, that one country on our side, Turkey, buys oil from Islamists in Syria. They use the money Turkey gives them to fund attacks against us.
Rather than taking Turkey to the woodshed, we pretend that President Erdogan is a team player. He’s not. Turkey under Erdogan has no business being in NATO.
The people of Turkey should be told the truth, and Erdogan should be given an ultimatum: either you are with us or you are against us.
To defeat Islamists, first we must acknowledge that they are Muslims and then deal with them wherever they are. That means we will need a global coalition, and there must be stiff penalties for anyone who provides support for the enemy.
I want to stress the word “anyone”. That includes the President of the United States and the President of Turkey.
This is a real war. It should be treated as such. Traitors must be treated as traitors.
Many times, I’ve said that this is World War III and that it’s just beginning. The evidence points in that direction. Let’s demand that our political leaders begin to do the jobs that they are elected to do.
Thankfully, 2016 is an election year in the U.S. The Democrat Party is the party of Islamist radicals. They have been made to feel at home there.
We need to defeat Democrats at all levels of government because they are the enemy. I am not exaggerating for effect.
If you like an elected official who happens to be a Democrat, I can tell you without hesitation that he or she doesn’t have good sense. If he or she did have good sense, he or she would not be a member of a party that includes large numbers of people who are at war with us.
I know that Democrats don’t like what I am saying, but I don’t care. It’s the truth.
The truth doesn’t have a political party or an agenda. It’s simply the truth.
For the record, I used to be a Democrat. I am not a Republican, never have been and never will be.
A vote for a Democrat is a vote for Islamism. At this moment, that’s not true about Republicans, but things can change in a hurry.

Newsweek—ISIS Already Established in EU States, Europol Warns: Europe faces a greater militant threat from within its borders than from foreign fighters posing as refugees, the EU’s law enforcement agency has said. “There is no concrete evidence that terrorist travellers systematically use the flow of refugees to enter Europe unnoticed,” according to research published on Monday by Europol, which also warned that domestic cells belonging to the Islamic State militant group (ISIS or IS) were operating within EU states and that the group has training camps within Europe in addition to its facilities in Syria. The research says that “IS is preparing more terrorist attacks, including more ‘Mumbai-style’ attacks, to be executed in member states of the EU,” and adds that the group has developed an “external actions command” trained for “special forces-style” attacks worldwide. The research says that “IS is preparing more terrorist attacks, including more ‘Mumbai-style’ attacks, to be executed in member states of the EU,” and adds that the group has developed an “external actions command” trained for “special forces-style” attacks worldwide.
SnyderTalk Comment: This “finding” isn’t really news, except for people who haven’t been keeping up.
ISIS is already established in the U.S., Russia, China, South America, Central America, and in every other country. Admittedly, it’s stronger in some countries than it is in others and it’s particularly strong in Europe, but it’s everywhere.
This thing is far from over, and it will get a lot worse before it gets better. It won’t get better until we stop pretending that it isn’t a problem with Islam.
Many of the mosques that “ordinary peaceful Muslims” attend are also recruitment centers for Islamists. So, why does President Obama forbid monitoring activities inside mosques?
There is a correct answer to that question. You won’t get it from Obama or anyone in his administration. You won’t get it from Hillary, either.
It’s World War III and we are in it. It’s Islam v. the world.
It’s time to abandon political correctness and start telling the truth. Failure in that regard will be very costly indeed.
Washington Post—The ever-expanding list of European policies that target refugees: It’s safe to say that the dramatic surge in the number of refugees has changed Europe. Across the continent, many governments — including those initially sympathetic to the plight of refugees — have adopted unusual and, in some cases, controversial policies to help deal with the flow of refugees. Here’s a list of some of the European policies that could affect many refugees and migrants.
Raymond Ibrahim—Pakistan: “Christian Girls Are Only Meant for the Pleasure of Muslim Men”: Three Christian girls in Pakistan, who rejected the advances of some wealthy Muslim young men, were recently mauled by them. One of the girls died. The London-born Chairman of the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA) and human rights activist, Wilson Chowdhry, who broke the story, reported that one of the men had said: “Christian girls are only meant for one thing, the [sexual] pleasure of Muslim men.” The incident occurred on January 13 in Lahore.
Mark Steyn—Hillary’s Saps: Charles McCullough, the Inspector General of the US Intelligence Community, has informed Congress that Hillary Clinton had “several dozen emails containing classified information determined by the IC element to be at the confidential, secret, and top secret/sap levels” on that private homebrew server she kept in some guy’s bathroom closet in Colorado. “Sap” stands for “special access program” and is the level above “top secret” – or, in laymen’s terms, super-duper extra-top secret. It’s generally accepted that much of that “sap” material made its way from Hillary’s inbox to hostile intelligence agencies around the world. Had anybody else treated years’ worth of the most confidential material so recklessly, they would now be in jail awaiting trial. By comparison, General Petraeus shared a tiny amount of “sap” material with just one person – his biographer-cum-mistress. He was prosecuted for breaching exactly the same non-disclosure agreement Hillary signed. As further punishment, it now seems the four-star general is likely to be demoted.
Lawrence Kadish—What Do Most of America’s Voters Really Want?: Is There A “Fourth Revolution” on the Horizon in America? In a recent conference entitled, “How to Think about Inequality,” author James Piereson discussed key topics explored in his books, Shattered Consensus and The Inequality Hoax. […] The current political cycle reveals that many Americans are demanding unprecedented accountability from their elected leaders concerning wasteful spending and policies that have labeled our nation “The United Give Me States of America.” A growing majority of citizens want economic growth, job creation, national security and many insist on an end to policies of political correctness, as they believe it is unraveling our basic right of freedom of speech.
SnyderTalk Comment: Keep in mind that violence is always associated with massive political shifts. It’s a natural phenomenon. This time there may be more violence than in the past.
Many people who have too much to say can’t see what’s taking place right in front of their eyes. They are foolish because their loose, frivolous talk only leads to more violence.
Too few people take Yahweh into account as they consider these seismic shifts. That’s foolish, too. He is actively involved—always has been, always will be.
At the end of the day, it’s a spiritual battle. All of us must choose sides. I know whose side I’m on.
The Blaze—Obama: Bernie Sanders Is a ‘Bright, Shiny Object’ for Democratic Voters Who Don’t Like the More-Experienced Hillary: President Barack Obama believes that much of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ support comes from Democrats who are frustrated with how former President Ronald Reagan set the terms of political debate and are seeking a “shiny object” in comparison to Hillary Clinton, who he said is ready to take the job from day one. Obama went on to suggest that Republican primary voters were just “venting” with their support for real estate mogul Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and that they will “settle down” when the party nominates someone.
SnyderTalk Comment: Two of the problems with having a fragile narcissist as president are 1) he thinks he knows everything and 2) he thinks people care about his musings.

CNN—Trump: Establishment is ‘against me’: Donald Trump insisted Monday that the Republican establishment is against him, but conceded that party leaders are warming to his candidacy as a better alternative to rival Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential bid.
SnyderTalk Comment: Establishment Republicans are against Trump and Cruz.
See “OBAMA: I hope the GOP picks someone more ‘constructive’ than Donald Trump”. Obama is against Trump, too, or is he?
Democrats are trying to pick the person they want to run against. I think Trump can win, but so can Cruz, Rubio, and Christie. There may be others.

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now. There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone. Click here to order the eBook.
