1--Intro Covering Israel and ME

“For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My Name will be great among the Gentiles, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My Name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My Name will be great among the Gentiles,” says Yahweh Sabaoth. (Malachi 1: 11)

Everyday Wickedness for Everyday People

Katie broke her arm and can’t drive for several weeks.  I’m doing my husband duties.  They include taking her to the places where she needs to go.  One of those places is physical therapy to rehabilitate her arm.

The other day while I killed time in the waiting room, I read a book review in the October 27, 2014 TIME titled “The Choice: Pro makes a controversial case that abortion can be an act of love”.

Katha Pollitt wrote the book.  Its full title is Pro: Reclaiming Abortion Rights.  The book was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year.

Below is the description of the book on Amazon:

An “important, revelatory new book” (Elle) that is a powerful argument for abortion as a moral right and force for social good.

Forty years after the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling, “abortion” is still a word that is said with outright hostility or vague discomfort by many, this despite the fact that one in three American women will have terminated at least one pregnancy by the time they reach menopause. Even those who support a woman’s right to terminate her pregnancy often qualify their support by saying abortion is a “bad thing,” an “agonizing decision,” thereby placing the medical procedure on a pedestal so remote and radioactive that it takes it out of the world of the everyday, turning an act that is often necessary, and often welcomed, into something shameful and secretive. Meanwhile with each passing day the rights upheld by the Supreme Court are being systematically eroded by state laws designed to end abortion outright.

In this controversial and necessary book, Katha Pollitt reframes abortion as a common part of a woman’s reproductive life, one that should be accepted as a moral right with positive social implications. In clear, concise arguments, Pollitt takes on the personhood argument, reaffirms the priority of a woman’s life and health, and discusses why terminating a pregnancy can be a force for good for women, families, and society. By whole-heartedly defending abortion rights, Pollitt argues, we reclaim the lives and the rights of women and mothers.

On strictly moral grounds, the book misses the mark completely.  The baby in the womb is a living human being with unique DNA.  Those facts are undeniable.  The baby is as distinct from its mother as any human being is from any other human being.

Simply put, that means the baby isn’t just tissue in a woman’s body and that abortion is a form of capital punishment.  There is no judge, no jury, no defense attorney, and no prosecutor.  All you have are criminal coconspirators and an innocent victim.

The preferred methods for executing babies in the womb are too gruesome for decent people to imagine.  For example,

  • Some of them are cut into tiny pieces inside the womb and vacuumed out.
  • Others are delivered to the point where only the head is in the birth canal. Then a “medical professional” punches a hole in the base of the baby’s skull and sucks out her brains to collapse the brain cavity.
  • As we now know thanks to Planned Parenthood, some of them are delivered alive and “medical professionals” dissect them to harvest their parts which they sell for cash.

What is going on right now makes Frankenstein look like a nursery rhyme and Hitler look like a compassionate man.  I challenge anyone with common sense and decency to make a logical argument for abortion on demand as an act of love.  It can’t be done—except in a wicked world.

Several years ago, I was talking about partial birth abortions with my leadership class at the University of Virginia.  I explained that the moral climate of society can be evaluated by examining things that we are willing to accept.

When I described the partial birth abortion procedure in detail, the class was shocked.  So was I.  I thought all of them knew what it involved.

These are the steps in a partial birth abortion procedure:

  1. The “medical professional” carefully turns the baby around in the womb so that it will be a breech birth. Under normal conditions, breech births are very dangerous for the child because the feet come out of the birth canal first.  That’s what they want to happen in a partial birth abortion.
  2. When the base of the baby’s skull appears, the “medical professional” tells the mother to stop pushing. If the head pops out, the child will have all the legal protections provided by law including the right to life.  The baby is just inches away from freedom when she is executed.
  3. The “medical professional” pokes a hole in the base of the skull, inserts a vacuum tube, and sucks out her brain.
  4. The baby is removed from the birth canal dead.

When I finished describing the procedure to my leadership students, a young black woman in the class who had excelled in every discussion throughout the semester raised her hand.  “Mr. Snyder,” she said, “that doesn’t happen very often.”

Thankfully, I had the data.  The previous year, more than 2,000 partial birth abortions had been performed in the U.S.  At that time, partial birth abortions were legal until the end of the pregnancy.  That means fully formed human beings were being murdered.

The young woman was surprised.  So was the rest of the class.  I looked at her and said, “Now I have a few questions for you.”

“Is it true that plantation owners in the Old South lynched slaves?”

“Yes.”

“Did it happen often?”

“Yes.”

“How often?”

“I don’t know.”

“How much did slaves cost?”

“I’m not sure.”

“Slaves were expensive.  It was common for them to cost more than $1,000 back then.  How often do you think a plantation owner who was trying to make a profit would kill a $1,000 investment?”

“Not often.”

My next question hit her hard.  “How often is too often.”

“Once,” she said as she wiped tears from her eyes.

The class got the message.  One partial birth abortion is too many.  The fact that partial birth abortions were legal tells us a lot about our society.  Virtually every other abortion performed tells us the same thing.

Abortion statistics are shocking:

  • Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, there have been almost 60,000,000 abortions in the U.S., and about 1,000,000 abortions are still being performed in the U.S. each year.
  • Since 1980, there have been about 1,400,000,000 abortions performed globally, and about 35,000,000 abortions are performed in the world each year.

The world is a wicked place.  Abortion is a great example of wickedness, and it’s going like gangbusters.

Less than 1/10 of 1% of abortions has anything to do with the health of the mother.  Stated another way, almost all abortions are for the mother’s convenience alone.

Is the convenience of the mother grounds for taking an innocent human life?  In a wicked world it is.

From a moral perspective, virtually every abortion is murder.  The fact that abortion is legal doesn’t change a thing.

Yahweh wrote the rules.  His laws can’t be overturned by any human court because He is the ultimate Sovereign.

This is my advice to women who have aborted children and their partners/spouses: ask for forgiveness and repent.  That means don’t do it again.

Yahweh is a merciful and forgiving Father, but He demands a change of heart.

Some of you probably thought that I would be writing about the Paris terrorist attack today.  That’s wicked, too, but abortion is everyday wickedness for everyday people.

To Yahweh, murder is murder.  It doesn’t matter who does it.

His Name is Yahweh, the website, is a companion of the book His Name is Yahweh.  Both of them explain the importance of God’s Name.

The website is loaded with factual information that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Yahweh is our Savior and that the Messiah is Yahweh.

I hope you will take a few minutes and explore the website.  I also hope you will share it with your friends and family.

It’s time for believers to tell the world about our God by His Name—Yahweh.

SnyderTalk Comment: Jim is absolutely right.  People who think they can oppose Israel and not betray Yahweh are wrong.

The Children of Israel are Yahweh’s chosen people.  That’s His decision, and it’s His alone.  He chose Israel to deliver His message and His blessings to the world.

In the State of Israel today, Judah is in charge.  Judah is 1 of 12 tribes of Israel.  Benyamin was absorbed by Judah a long time ago.  The other tribes will be coming home.  Their numbers are huge.  Judah isn’t open to letting them stay right now, but one day they will be.

Yahweh’s promises about the Promised Land and about His chosen people are specific and detailed.  Attempting to destroy His people or to harm them in any way or to prevent Yahweh from fulfilling His promises are acts of betrayal.  There is no better way to say it.

People who oppose Yahweh are no better than Balaam.  He turned against Israel, and he will forevermore be remembered as an enemy of Yahweh.  If you don’t know about Balaam, look him up and see for yourself.

The Jewish people in Israel aren’t perfect.  No nation is perfect.  I have problems with some of the things they do, and I talk about my issues in SnyderTalk.  Even so, I never condemn or unfairly criticize them because their problems are Yahweh’s concern.

I believe the only sensible course of action is to let Yahweh handle it.  I will never put myself in His place because they are the apple of His eye.

Yahweh told Zechariah, “For thus says Yahweh Sabaoth, ‘After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.’” (Zechariah 2: 8)

The Hebrew word translated as “apple” in this verse is (בָּבַת, babah). It actually means pupil.  The Children of Israel are the pupil of Yahweh’s eye.

Don’t take this warning lightly because anyone who even attempts to poke Yahweh in the eye is begging for trouble.

Raheem Kassam and Oliver Lane—Paris Terrorist was Migrant who Registered as a Refugee in Greece:

The Greek government has announced one of the terrorist gunmen who had a part in killing over 120 in Paris on Friday evening entered Europe while masquerading as a refugee just six weeks ago.

Reports early on Saturday that one of the gunmen was found to have been carrying a Syrian passport have been followed by an announcement by Greek minister for citizen protection Nikos Tosca that the individual was masquerading as a refugee, reports Greek Antenna news.

The unnamed killer was registered on the Greek island of Leros in the southern Aegean sea on the third of October. The Island is just ten miles from the Turkish coast and has been a major point of ingress for so-called ‘refugees’ into Europe, alongside neighbour island Kos.

SnyderTalk Comment: The worst is yet to come.  Beware the Trojan horse.

Boaz Bismuth—France knows: This is war:

And not just any war, a religious war: the most dangerous and fanatical kind • Friday’s “barbaric” attacks in Paris made it clear that France can no longer bury its head in the sand • Islamist jihad has arrived, and it intends to kill, terrify — conquer.

“This is an act of war,” French President François Hollande proclaimed after convening his security cabinet on Saturday. Hollande said the Islamic State group was responsible for Friday night’s appalling series of terrorist attacks, in which at least 129 people lost their lives, and that the attacks were planned outside of France. “France will be merciless toward the barbarians of the Islamic State group” and “will act with all the means necessary… on all fronts: interior and exterior, in coordination with our allies who themselves are targeted by this threat,” vowed Hollande, who at 4 a.m. spoke with U.S. President Barack Obama over the phone.

France is at war. A countrywide state of emergency was declared along with three days of national mourning. In the upcoming days we will also see many more soldiers in the city of lights. The city’s main tourist attractions and public institutions remained closed Saturday. At least eight terrorists, among them seven suicide attackers, took part in the multi-pronged assault. A manhunt is underway to find the planners and those who provided the attackers with logistical support. The overriding fear is that this isn’t over. There isn’t a dearth of terrorists in France. The jihadists returning from Syria are potential ticking time bombs. The problem is that this is no longer about potential. The terror is already here. France is at war, and not just any war, a religious war: the most dangerous and fanatical kind.

SnyderTalk Comment: This article’s title disturbs me.  It was war long before France knew it.

I’ve been talking about it for more than two decades, but it’s been war for longer than that.  Tentacles of this war reach back to 1948 and the birth of contemporary Israel.

I was talking about this war as a professor at the University of Virginia in the 1990s, long before it was painfully obvious that the war had begun.  I know that some of my students must have thought that I was just speculating, but I wasn’t.  I suppose they know that now, but I’m not sure.  In the Democrat debate last night, the contenders for Obama’s crown still refused to call it what it is.  There are many useful idiots like them.  It would be foolish of me to believe that none of my students fell into that category.

I’ve been writing about this war in SnyderTalk for almost a decade.  If you are a SnyderTalk reader, you know that.

With that thought in mind, I want to repeat something I have said many times: stock up on guns and ammo while you can.  One day, you will need them.  If you don’t need them, you can have fun practicing with them.

Raymond Ibrahim—The Indonesian Jihad on Christian Churches:

  • “We will not stop hunting Christians and burning churches. Christians are Allah’s enemies!” – Islamic leaders, Aceh region.
  • In other parts of Indonesia, where Islamic law, or Sharia, is not enforced, churches, even fully registered ones, are also under attack.
  • On Dec. 25, 2012, with all required paperwork in place, when the congregation assembled on empty land to celebrate Christmas, hundreds of Muslims threw rocks, rotten eggs, and bags filled with excrement at the Christians. Police stood by and watched.
  • For Indonesia, the country once hailed as the face of “moderate Islam,” the “extremist” behavior one would expect of ISIS has apparently become the norm.

SnyderTalk Comment: Jews and Christians unite.  It will happen one day for sure.  Why not get it started now?

Actually, it has started already.  Why not expand it now—aggressively.

Jonah Goldberg—Netanyahu’s Framing of Middle East Situation is Spot-On:

Americans could learn a thing or two from Bibi Netanyahu.

The Israeli prime minister was in Washington this week to receive the American Enterprise Institute’s Irving Kristol Award. He made some controversial remarks — at least controversial at AEI, where I am a fellow, and where the freedom agenda is alive and well — about the need to be realistic about what’s going on in the Middle East. Sometimes, he said, brutal dictators are better than the real-world alternatives: even more brutal Islamist movements hell-bent (or, if you prefer, paradise-bent) to conquer the world.

Less controversial but more intriguing was his description of the turmoil in the Middle East. “The core of the conflicts in the Middle East is the battle between modernity and early primitive medievalism,” Netanyahu explained.

Everyone understood what he meant, of course. The Islamic State believes the Muslim world took a wrong turn more than a thousand years ago.

Robert Robb—What does US want to achieve in Middle East?:

What is the United States trying to accomplish in the Middle East, expansively defined for purposes of this discussion to include Afghanistan and North Africa?

Large foreign policy constructs should be viewed with suspicion. George W. Bush’s ambition for the U.S. to serve as a catalyst for a regional transformation to democratic capitalism came a cropper. Barack Obama’s ambition for regional peace and improvement through U.S. leadership of efforts by the international community was a non-starter.

There shouldn’t be objection to an ad hoc foreign policy, guided by U.S. national interests but not in service to any particular overarching grand design or strategy. But even such a foreign policy should be able to answer that simple question: What is the United States trying to achieve?

There does not seem to be any answer to that question in our current conduct in the region. Obama decided to leave nearly 10,000 combat troops in Afghanistan. But they aren’t supposed to engage in combat. What are they supposed to achieve?

Conn Hallinan—The Saudis Are Stumbling. They May Take the Middle East with Them:

For the past eight decades Saudi Arabia has been careful.

Using its vast oil wealth, it’s quietly spread its ultra-conservative brand of Islam throughout the Muslim world, secretly undermined secular regimes in its region, and prudently kept to the shadows while others did the fighting and dying. It was Saudi money that fueled the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan, underwrote Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Iran, and bankrolled Islamic movements and terrorist groups from the Caucasus to the Hindu Kush.

It wasn’t a modest foreign policy, but it was a discreet one.

Today that circumspect diplomacy is in ruins, and the House of Saud looks more vulnerable than it has since the country was founded in 1926. Unraveling the reasons for the current train wreck is a study in how easily hubris, delusion, and old-fashioned ineptness can trump even bottomless wealth.

David Rubin—The GOP and Israel:

Growing up in “progressive” New York City, I always believed that the Democrats were the only party in town. Republicans (otherwise known as the GOP, or Grand Old Party) were stereotyped as those “rednecks and hicks who live in the sticks” and no Jew in his right mind could ever dream of voting for them.

My views have evolved since then, not only on the liberal knee-jerk social issues such as abortion, same-sex marriage, and school prayer, but especially on what is rapidly becoming a major issue in the GOP – Israel.

While most politicians in Congress would claim to be pro-Israel, the overwhelming majority of Congressional Democrats voted for the Iran nuclear deal, which will enable the staunchly anti-Israel Islamic nation to acquire the nuclear bomb within ten years. That agreement was bitterly opposed by most Israelis across the political spectrum. Furthermore, the leading Democratic candidates for president are on record as supporting an independent Palestinian state. They also oppose Israel’s right to build homes in its ancient and reestablished capital Jerusalem, as well as in its biblical heartland – the regions of Judea and Samaria – mistakenly known to most of the world by the fictional term, the West Bank. This po‎sition is taken by leading candidate Hillary Clinton, who infamously phoned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during her term as Secretary of State to sternly lecture him for 45 minutes about the illegality of Israel granting a building permit to Jews in Israel’s capital city. Her views have not changed.

Perhaps it’s time for Jews and other supporters of Israel to take a closer look at the Republicans?

Ingrid Carlqvist—Sweden Descends into Anarchy:

Once upon a time, there was a safe welfare state called Sweden, where people rarely locked their doors.

Now, this country is a night-watchman state — each man is on his own. When the Minister of Justice, Morgan Johansson, encourages breaking the law, it means opening the gates to anarchy. Mr. and Mrs. Swede have every reason to be worried, with the influx of 190,000 unskilled and unemployed migrants expected this year — equivalent to 2% of Sweden’s current population. The number is as if 6.4 million penniless migrants who did not speak English arrived in U.S. in one year, or 1.3 million in Britain.

And the Swedes are preparing: demand for firearms licenses is increasing; more and more Swedes are joining shooting clubs and starting vigilante groups. After a slight dip in 2014, the number of new gun permits has gone up significantly again this year. According to police statistics, there are 1,901,325 licensed guns, owned by 567,733 people, in Sweden. Add to this an unknown number of illegal weapons. To get a gun permit in Sweden, you need to be at least 18 years old; law-abiding; well-behaved, and have a hunting license or be a member of an approved shooting club. In 2014, 11,000 people got a hunting license: 10% more than the year before. One out of five was a woman.

“There is also a high demand for alarm systems right now,” says a salesman at one of the security companies in an interview with Gatestone.

SnyderTalk Comment: The U.S. isn’t inoculated for these problems.  They can hit us just as hard as they are hitting the Swedes if we allow it.

George Igler—Hungary’s Migrant Crisis Ends, Europe’s Has Just Begun:

“[H]alf any given year’s total migrants arrive by the start of October. The other half arrives between October and the end of December… If these tendencies remain relevant, we should expect the very opposite of a winter break, and should prepare instead for an increasing flood of people.” — Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, September 21, 2015.

The UN High Commission for Refugees announced on Nov. 2 that the number of people who illegally migrated to Europe in October alone (218,394) nearly outstripped the number of those who entered throughout the whole of 2014 (219,000).

The reality at Hungary’s central railway station in Budapest had to be seen to be believed. Hungarians were easily outnumbered 200 to 1 by predominantly young Muslim males. These newcomers engaged in sporadic violence, rioted at the sight of camera crews, and left the station littered with human excrement.

According to Björn Höcke, of the populist Alternative for Germany Party (AfD), by the end of 2016 there will be as many Muslim males of military age in Germany (5.5 million), as there are young German men of that age.

On Nov. 2, Libya threatened to send to Europe millions of migrants from Africa, unless the EU recognizes its self-declared (Islamist) government.

Jonathan Spyer—A Murder in October:

On October 13, 2015, two young Palestinian men affiliated with the Hamas movement, Baha Alian and Bilal Ranem, boarded the 78 bus in Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv neighborhood. The two were residents of Jabel Mukaber, an adjoining Arab village.

Alian was armed with a concealed firearm, Ranem with a knife. The two intended to carry out a terror attack within the framework of the spate of murders of Israeli Jews by Palestinian Arab Muslims, inspired by false claims that Israel was planning to change the “status quo” on the Temple Mount area.

Shortly after boarding the bus, Alian opened fire, and Ranem set about trying to stab the passengers. Alian was overpowered by a security guard on the bus. Ranem managed to seal the door of the bus, but was then shot from outside it by members of the Israeli security forces.

The terrorists succeeded in killing three Israelis and wounding a number of others. One of those killed was a 78-year-old man named Haviv Haim.

Alan M. Dershowitz—Selective Outrage on Campus:

Following the forced resignations of the President and Provost of the University of Missouri, demonstrations against campus administrators has spread across the country.  Students – many of whom are Black, gay, transgender and Muslim – claim that they feel “unsafe” as the result of what they call “white privilege” or sometimes simply privilege.  “Check your privilege” has become the put-down du jour.  Students insist on being protected by campus administrators from “micro-aggressions,” meaning unintended statements inside and outside the classroom that demonstrate subtle insensitivities towards minority students.  They insist on being safe from hostile or politically incorrect ideas.  They demand “trigger warnings” before sensitive issues are discussed or assigned. They want to own the narrative and keep other points of view from upsetting them or making them feel unsafe.

Israel Medad—When a Jewish Mother’s Breast Meets the Muslim Dome of the Rock:

The campaign for Jewish rights to the current Temple Mount compound and within its precincts has always has its feminine side. There is a “Women on Behalf of the Temple and Temple Mount” group with their Facebook page. Others promote specific preparatory crafts, such as weaving, as a means for raising consciousness about the restrictions Jews face at their most holy site. In the past, Rabbanit Penina Pel’i, Esther Abutbol and Rabbanit Esther Breuer were among the leading figures two and three decades ago. Today, Rabbanit Rivkah Shimoni and Rachel Sela and others.

Sometimes, they are physically attacked (and children, too) by Muslim women, in addition to being subjected to the shrieks they sound off.

Tuesday, November 9th, was, perhaps, a turning point.

Those who wish to ascend while keeping to as full a commitment to the stringent Jewish ritual obligations as possible face a daunting task. There is the mikveh immersion previous to arrival and keeping within a limited route for the walk-about. Since the police are very uncooperative, there are long waits which include rising early to get there in time for the 7:30 a.m. opening and the long wait to enter, while hundreds of tourists go in through a parallel security check gate freely.

Alex Ryvchin—Theater of the Palestine Solidarity Movement:

  • In Galway, Ireland, they stood huddled in the corner of the lecture theater whispering ominously. Then the leader surged forward, arms flailing, voice bellowing, clad in the colors of Palestine. Professor Alan Johnson, a respected political theorist and one of British Labour’s most astute thinkers, stoically continued his address. He presented his analysis of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, unsparing in his criticism of both sides, and stated the progressive case for peace: two states for two peoples.
  • But the protesters weren’t there to engage with ideas, or to advance a negotiated, peaceful outcome to the conflict. They were there to “resist.” What they were resisting in that lecture theater on the western coast of the Irish Republic is not clear. But there they were. Seething Westerners draped in keffiyehs and kitschy woven Palestine bracelets, the essential uniform of today’s fearless “revolutionary.”
  • For the Israel-haters, Palestinians are helpless victims, totally without agency and therefore without fault. They exist only as an abstract construct of untarnished innocence, an idealized nation of goatherds and olive farmers. But this deception is only one half of the equation. To complete the resistance fantasy, one must conceive of a villain worth opposing, “the Zionist Jew” – an equally mythical figure, evil beyond redemption. If the traditional racist stereotype of the Jew is greedy, ruthless and cunning, wait till you meet the Zionist.
  • Yet Zionism is no more or less than the secular, national movement of the Jewish people. Like the national movement of the Palestinians, it sees the nation-state as the expression of a people’s right to self-determination. Israel has twice traded territory for peace treaties (with Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994). It does not aspire to impose the religion of the majority on others. But fighting real Zionism, a people’s inalienable right to self-determination, hardly qualifies as the noble struggle about which self-righteous Westerners fantasize.
  • The anti-Israel movement is defined by symbolic acts that change nothing. Adherents celebrate when pro-forma anti-Israel resolutions are driven through hospitable forums and pop stars are intimidated into cancelling their gigs in Tel Aviv. How this improves the life of a single Palestinian has never been established.

‘Jihadi John’ Is Targeted by US Airstrike in ISIS Stronghold

‘Jihadi John’ targeted by US airstrike in Syria

SnyderTalk Comment: I would have preferred capturing Jihadi John and bringing him to justice publicly for the world to see.  As we have learned from Gitmo, justice is not what capturing these butchers is about.  They are held in prison, and the privileges they are afforded shock to me.

If ordinary citizens had any idea what jihadists plan to do to them and their families, they would be appalled, too.  They don’t know or they refuse to believe.  A very large number of our fellow citizens support politicians who have distorted reality so completely that the truth is difficult to see.  Barack Obama, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton are among the worst offenders in that regard.

Jihadists aren’t just planning to destroy us.  The actions they take every day are aimed at achieving that goal.  Over the past few years in the U.S., we have had a few brutal killings.  Europe has had many more, but in the Middle East, it’s a raging battle.  Most of the fighting is in Muslim countries, but Israel is a primary target.

ISIS and its followers can’t be contained.  They must be eliminated.  It’s all-out war.  Either we will win or we will lose.  There is no middle ground.

The day is coming when the global populace will have had enough of their governments’ unwillingness to deal with the problem.  Vigilante justice will ensue on a broad scale.  When that happens, many innocent people will die.  The blame will lie at the feet of political leaders and others who won’t tell the truth.

1 “Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them to minister as priests to Me: take one young bull and two rams without blemish, 2 and unleavened bread and unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil; you shall make them of fine wheat flour. 3 You shall put them in one basket, and present them in the basket along with the bull and the two rams. 4 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the doorway of the tent of meeting and wash them with water. 5 You shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the tunic and the robe of the ephod and the ephod and the breastpiece, and gird him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod; 6 and you shall set the turban on his head and put the holy crown on the turban. 7 Then you shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him. 8 You shall bring his sons and put tunics on them. 9 You shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and bind caps on them, and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute. So you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.  Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided.  They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make.  As they say, forewarned is forearmed.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
