September 21, 2015 SnyderTalk: “Wake Up!”: Muslim Persecution of Christians

1--Intro Covering Israel and ME

“For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My Name will be great among the Gentiles, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My Name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My Name will be great among the Gentiles,” says Yahweh Sabaoth. (Malachi 1: 11)

Raymond Ibrahim—”Wake Up!”: Muslim Persecution of Christians:

Not only is the Islamic State (IS) persecuting Christians but so are the U.S.-supported “rebel” forces in Syria, which the Obama administration assures are “moderate.” According to a recent National Public Radio (NPR) report, “With backing from U.S. allies, like Turkey and Saudi Arabia, this [U.S. supported] rebel coalition fights both the Syrian regime and the so-called Islamic State, or ISIS. But the coalition has extremists in its own ranks who have mistreated Christians and forced them out of their homes”—just as IS has done.

In response, Mideast Christian leaders have made clear that, far from expecting the West to intervene on their behalf, they merely wish that the West would stop arming, supporting, or even facilitating the Islamic terrorists who are making their lives a living hell. The crisis was spelled out in an article in Christian Today, entitled, “Syrian Christian leader tells West: ‘Stop arming terror groups who are massacring our people.”

According to the Patriarch of Antioch, Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, “If the West wants to do something about the present crisis, the most effective thing would be to support local governments, which need sufficient armies and forces to maintain security and defend respective populations against attacks. State institutions need to be strengthened and stabilized. Instead, what we see is their forced dismemberment being fueled from the outside.”

Another Christian leader had another message to the West. According to Iraqi priest, Fr. Douglas Bazi, once a torture victim who now takes care of thousands of refugees forced to flee Mosul since the Islamic State took over the city last year, the West needs to “Wake up!” During celebrations of St. Peter and St. Paul, the Iraqi priest further reflected that, “We cannot celebrate the feast of two martyrs without remembering the living martyrs of our time.”

These martyrs are not limited to the Middle East. Among the many Christians slaughtered in Nigeria in July was a young girl who was stoned to death for refusing to renounce Christ and convert to Islam. Pastor Mark lost his daughter, Monica, in the Chibok abduction, in which almost 300 predominantly Christian girls were kidnapped at the hands of the Islamic organization, Boko Haram. He was told that his daughter refused to change her religion, so she was buried from the neck down, and then stoned to death.

SnyderTalk Comment: Barack Obama has talked more during his presidency than any other president I have seen.  What has he talked about?

Three things stand out in my mind as issues about which Obama cares a lot:

  1. Persecution of Muslims.
  2. Racial injustice.
  3. Acceptance of the homosexual agenda.

I’m sure that persecution of ordinary Muslims is an issue in some isolated places, but throughout the world, radical Muslim persecution of anyone who doesn’t buy the Islamist philosophy is running rampant.  Even ordinary Muslims are victims of Islamists because they reject the dogmatic and tyrannical ways of the barbarian horde.

Obama says that Islamist butchers aren’t really Muslims.  That’s ridiculous.  They adhere to the Quran which they quote ad nauseam.  Those recitations are the “most beautiful sound” that Obama ever heard as a boy in Indonesia, or so he says.

You can’t have it both ways.  Islamism is either good or evil.  There is no in-between, and Islamists are Muslims.

The damage that Obama has done to the world as president by dissembling about Islam is remarkable.  We will be paying the price for his misdeeds long after his presidency ends.

What about racial injustice?

Racism is real.  It was on the decline until Obama took office.  By focusing attention on criminals and trying to convince us that they are victims, he has unleashed forces that are beyond his ability to control.

The blame for the random shootings of police officers across the U.S. rests squarely at Obama’s feet.  You could even say that he gave the perpetrators their marching orders.

Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Jessie Jackson, and Al Sharpton are birds of a feather.  They have slowed down the march toward racial equality, and I suspect that they have set us on a course that will have an inevitable backlash.  If I’m right, it won’t be pretty.

Finally, what about homosexuality as an acceptable alternate lifestyle?

Confusion about sexual identity seems to be a sign of our time, but confusion is not justification for abandoning common sense and morals.

Obama is confused.  He is the standard-bearer for the homosexual community.  As president, he has set us on a course that will lead to another inevitable backlash and Divine judgment.

See “Obama to nominate first openly gay secretary of the Army”.

Obama can’t resist the temptation to force his perverse agenda down our throats and to poke Yahweh in the eye.  Does anyone believe that the best person for the job of secretary of the Army happens to be an openly homosexual man?

Anyone who believes that needs to have his head examined.

Obama is sending us a message.  I got it, and you got it. You can rest assured that Yahweh gets it.

Slogan slingers and one-liner pundits say that you can’t legislate morality.  That’s not true.  By definition, the law is about right and wrong, acceptable and unacceptable.  Thus, most of our laws are about morals.  Presidents can’t champion perversity without encountering stiff resistance.  This issue is far from resolved.

The long and short of it is that President Obama has created a whole host of problems that we will be trying to solve for decades if we have that long.  The Democrat Party has been his accomplice every inch of the way.

The Republican Party isn’t perfect, but it’s light-years ahead of the Democrat Party.  Thankfully, there are several very good candidates for president in the Republican ranks.

For your information, I am not and have never been a Republican.  I have been a Democrat, though.  That’s why I know that it is the party of perversity. I’m not guessing.  My fear is that the Republican Party will fall into line behind Democrats to capture more votes.

Associated Press and Israel Hayom Staff: Temple Mount: The raw nerve of the Middle East conflict— A rectangular hilltop compound in Jerusalem is ground zero of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Known to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary, it is Islam’s third holiest spot and home to the iconic golden-domed shrine. But to Jews it is the Temple Mount, their holiest place, and the only religious site in the world revered by Jews where Jews are explicitly forbidden to pray. This sensitive arrangement — and attempts to change it — lie at the heart of the unrest that rocked Jerusalem this week. Growing numbers of religious Jews are paying visits to the site, feeding long-standing fears among Muslims that they intend to take over the area and build a new biblical temple, despite Israel’s repeated insistence that no such plans are in the works.

Israel UN Mission: Prosor: “When the Palestinians Set the Temple Mount Ablaze, Mahmoud Abbas Fuels the Fire, and the Security Council Fans the Flames”— Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor said Thursday:

  • “This past Sunday, as Jews around the world prepared to celebrate the Jewish New Year, Palestinian terrorists once again used the holiday season to instigate riots on the Temple Mount and to launch terror attacks, which lead to the murder of an Israeli citizen, Alexander Lebelovitch. Instead of condemning these acts, Mahmoud Abbas has chosen, once again, to fuel the fire in the most shameful manner….Only yesterday, he declared: ‘We cannot allow the filthy feet of the Jews to desecrate Al-Aqsa.’ This rhetoric is obscene and dangerous.”
  • Responding to the Security Council statement on the topic, releasedThursday, Ambassador Prosor said: “This statement, which only uses the Arabic name for the Temple Mount, affirms the right of Muslims to be present and to pray at the compound, but completely ignores the Palestinian violence, the deep connection of the Jewish People to the Temple Mount, and the right of all to visit the site. Instead of calming tensions, the Council sides with those who are trying to set the region on fire. When the Palestinians set the Temple Mount ablaze, Mahmoud Abbas fuels the fire, and the Security Council fans the flames, it is a recipe for a regional explosion.”

Israel UN Mission: Palestinian Violence on the Temple Mount—In a letter to the UN Secretary General and the Security Council, Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor said Thursday:

  • “Once again, radical Islamic operatives have used the occasion of a Jewish holiday to stage provocations and instigate violence on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. These groups have a long track-record of attacking Jews on their holiest days, at their holiest place.”
  • “The operatives prepared for this violent confrontation by stockpiling rocks, planks, wooden sheets and fireworks. They also prepared lethal weapons such as Molotov firebombs and explosive devices in advance of the calculated provocation. When Israeli police entered the area to maintain order, and ensure free access, the operatives unleashed their attack. The violent attacks continued for three consecutive days, throughout the Jewish festival, as the masked operatives threw rocks, firebombs, and firecrackers at the police, who responded with non-lethal riot dispersal measures.”
  • “I wish to emphasize that these three days of Palestinian violence on the Temple Mount were not provoked by any Israeli activity. I would also like to make it clear that at no point did Israeli police forces enter the mosque. All damage sustained at the mosque was a direct result of the activities of the militants.”
  • “We would expect Palestinians and the Arab world to condemn such profanation of holy sites, but their silence on this matter is deafening.”

Col. (ret.) Dr. Jacques Neriah: The Islamic State’s Rules for Its Christian Subjects—The Islamic State has formulated a “covenant” in which it defines the rights and duties of the non-Muslim population, mainly of Christian faith, living in its boundaries. In return for their right to live safely under Islamic state rule, the Christians commit not to build or renovate their town’s churches or convents. Prayers must be conducted in such a way that Muslims will not hear them nor shall they hear sounds of bells from their churches. Christians should refrain from appearing in public with artifacts of worship. Christians are due to revere Islam and Muslims. Every adult Christian is to pay, in two installments yearly, the jizya (Arabic per-capita tax) in the amount of four dinars of gold. According to the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, the Islamic State received the full amount of the jizya from the Christian community remaining in Alkaryatayn 24 hours after it stormed the town and after presenting to the Christians one of three choices: Pay the jizya, convert to Islam, or leave town. Most Christians left town. In August 2015, the Islamic State destroyed the Mar Elyan Monastery in Alkaryatayn, one of the oldest Christian historical shrines in the Middle East.

Lori Lowenthal Marcus: New Shudders: Guess What Else Team Kerry Gave Away?— For the majority of Americans who have already figured out that the Nuclear Iran Deal negotiated by U.S. President Barack Obama’s team led by Secretary of State John Kerry is a win for the mullahs intent on acquiring nuclear weapons capacity, there’s more nightmare-generating bad news. Kerry has admitted to various American lawmakers that both Russia and China, as well as Europe will be shielded from any “snapback” in renewed sanctions should Iran be found red-handed violating the few prohibitions contained in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The Secretary of State also disclosed that under the deal he and his team deftly negotiated, the testing of ballistic missiles (those nasty vehicles which can be used to deliver nuclear weapons) is perfectly okay.

Renee Garfinkel: Dying To Get Out: True Refugees and the Refugee Scam— The civilized world is quite properly appalled — indeed horrified — by the unrelenting flow of desperate people pouring out of Syria. European countries, caught by surprise, scramble madly to cope with the human tsunami, while wealthy gulf countries sit on their hands and their fortunes, apparently unmoved by their neighbors — like them, mostly Muslim and Arab — who are dying to get out. Make no mistake: The flight of refugees from the Middle East and North Africa is not just a regional problem. The world has not seen as many displaced people since the end of WWII, and the aftershocks of an earthquake of human suffering — caused by the pounding of running feet and the cries of drowning children — will be felt in every part of the globe. Let’s begin with a practical question: Who will pay for resettling all these refugees?

Ben Cohen: The Truth About the Iran Lobby— In the weeks since the Obama administration announced the perilous international nuclear deal with Iran, growing attention has been paid to the network of organizations and foundations that have been actively lobbying to normalize relations between the U.S. and the Islamist regime in Tehran. Rightly, that network is being referred to as the “Iran lobby.” The welcome and much-needed scrutiny of its workings and contacts provides a salutary lesson in how to identify enemies who present themselves as friends.

Hazem Balousha: Hamas Steps Up Recruitment of Fighters to Meet Shortage—Almost daily in most regions in the Gaza Strip, Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades militants perform military parades. Masked militants hold light weapons and miniature versions of missiles and aircraft that the Brigades claim to have developed and manufactured locally and used in their confrontation with Israel. Large signs in the main cities praise Hamas’ military capabilities during the latest war. Sculptures of missiles and aircraft are placed in key squares. Al-Qassam organized military training camps for boys and young men, dubbed the “vanguards of liberation camps,” during the students’ midterm break in January and during their summer vacation in August. A well-informed source in the Hamas leadership discussed its recruiting strategy with Al-Monitor: “Few young men are attracted through mosques and the preaching department, but through al-Qassam Brigades summer camps and other popular activities, attracting young men became faster and more effective. Al-Qassam Brigades need fighters, not preachers, since there is a shortage in fighters as a result of successive wars. This shortage must not only be compensated for, but rather the number of fighters must be increased.”

‘Death to America’ chants not personal, Rouhani says—“In interview set to air Sunday, Iranian president says countrymen ‘respect American people,’ ‘not looking for war with any country’.”

SnyderTalk Comment: I wonder if Rouhani realizes how ridiculous that explanation sounds.  Many people will buy it, including Obama and Kerry and Biden and Clinton.

The video below tells the tale:

Breed and conquer Europe, al-Aqsa preacher exhorts Muslims

SnyderTalk Comment: That’s the truth. That’s what they are doing, and they plan to do a lot more with the insurgents who are posing as refugees.

Breed and conquer is an apt description. Are we listening?

I hope the next president overhauls of our immigration policies because they are dangerous. The U.S. is only a few years behind Europe where Islamists are concerned.

Trump says he’s not ‘morally obligated’ to defend Obama against claims

SnyderTalk Comment: Trump isn’t obligated to defend Obama or to lie for him.  If Obama wants to make his case, let him make it.

This brouhaha was set off because Trump didn’t correct a questioner who said that Obama was a Muslim.  Based on what I’ve seen over the past 7 years, I think Obama is a Muslim of the radical variety.  If he’s not an Islamist, he sure acts like one.

You can tell a tree by its fruit.  Obama’s fruit is so rotten that it stinks.

4--Scripture of the Day Yahweh

Exodus 23

10 “You shall sow your land for six years and gather in its yield, 11 but on the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, so that the needy of your people may eat; and whatever they leave the beast of the field may eat. You are to do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.”

12 “Six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave, as well as your stranger, may refresh themselves. 13 Now concerning everything which I have said to you, be on your guard; and do not mention the name of other gods, nor let them be heard from your mouth.”

SnyderTalk Comment: Read His Name is Yahweh.

Collectively, we profane the Sabbath and most of us don’t even know the Name of our Elohim.  It’s Yahweh.

Almost every person on the planet knows the name of the moon god, but the Name of our Creator is a mystery to most believers.  That’s going to change.

This is how Yahweh explained it:

“Therefore behold, I am going to make them know, this time I will make them know My power and My might; and they shall know that My Name is Yahweh.” (Jeremiah 16: 21)

  • God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This [Yahweh] is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.” (Exodus 3: 15)
  • “Therefore behold, I am going to make them know—this time I will make them know My power and My might; and they shall know that My name is Yahweh.” (Jeremiah 16: 21)
  • “Behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our righteousness.’” (Jeremiah 23: 5-6)

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite.
