Jack Engelhard—Abbas’ Holy War of Lies:

Well this much is for sure. The play-acting is no more and Mahmoud Abbas isn’t even pretending to be a “peace partner.” He’s gone rogue.

These days this Fatah warlord openly calls for the murder of any and all Israelis and the Jewish blood that’s been spilled from Jerusalem onward – men, women, 3-month-old babies – places him at the heart and center of the reign of terror now being inflicted upon the Jewish State.

His PA (Palestinian Authority) gangs heed him word for word when he demands Jewish blood “by any means.”

Murder by automobile is the latest Islamic trick, and if that doesn’t work, Palestinian Arabs are urged to slash their victims to death.

This the Arabs have been doing repeatedly and gladly.

(Where, by the way, is the Left that was so outraged against the Price Taggers? Hello? We can’t hear you!)

Fattened by standing ovations at the UN, intoxicated by support from the EU, bloated by the wishful romance of a Palestinian State (to exact further terror), adopted by the Left, embraced by the media, it is no wonder that this man Abbas feels that the world belongs to him.

All that he takes as a signal that Israel is his pastime – and he misses no chance to insist that the entire Land belongs to him and his worthless goons. He claims the Temple Mount for himself and his gang of rowdies without being able to name King Solomon as an ancestor – a heritage that is available to every Jewish man and woman.

SnyderTalk Comment: Abbas has been lying all along, and he’s lying today.  He’s just like his predecessor, Yasser Arafat, in that regard.  He lies to get what he wants, but he never deviates from his goal.

Abbas’ objective is to annihilate Israel.  He has the enthusiastic support of the Israeli political left who champion him as a “peace partner”.  Occasionally, they wake up long enough to notice that things aren’t going the way they are supposed to, but then they quickly return to their delusion.

Liberal/progressives on the left in the U.S. are just like their counterparts in Israel.  They are utterly clueless but extremely self-assured.  In the United States, they have joined together in a political party.  We call them Democrats.

What political party booed God during their 2012 presidential nominating convention?

If you know the answer, how can you possibly think of yourself as one of them?  Wake up.  You can be certain that Yahweh was paying attention.

Tristin Hopper: Gruesome synagogue killings leave Jerusalem tensions at breaking point— After weeks of escalating violence, Israeli-Palestinian tensions were stretched to the breaking point Tuesday by a gruesome attack on a Jerusalem synagogue that killed five and injured seven others, including a Canadian citizen. While Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas officially condemned the attack, Hamas representatives praised the massacre as a “heroic operation” and arranged celebratory handouts of candy in the streets of Gaza. Israel, meanwhile, called up reserve units of border police, stepped up the country’s threat level and promised to “respond decisively.” “We are in the midst of a terrorist assault focused on Jerusalem,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a Tuesday statement to media. The Israeli leader vowed to “restore law, order and security to the streets of Jerusalem” and confirmed that he had ordered the demolition of the family homes of Ghassan and Udai Abu Jamal, the Palestinian cousins named as the perpetrators of the synagogue attack.

David Horovitz: Abbas Has Helped Foster the Climate for a New Intifada—There has been criticism of the Israeli leadership for pointing the finger of blame at PA President Mahmoud Abbas as the terror wave has risen in Jerusalem, when it is argued that Hamas and other extremist Palestinian groups are the primary terrorism-inflamers. But Abbas and his loyalists have emphatically swung to the extremes in the last few weeks. The PA chief accused Israel of “genocide” in Gaza from the UN General Assembly podium less than two months ago. Last week, he warned against “contaminating” the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He hailed the would-be assassin of Rabbi Yehudah Glick, a prime advocate of Jewish and Muslim prayer on the Temple Mount, as a martyr. Abbas has thus helped foster the climate for a new armed intifada. Palestinian terrorists, and those who incite them and support them, should know: We are not going to be shot and stabbed and bludgeoned out of here by your brutality and the false justifications you invoke to legitimate it. We seek co-existence. But your rights cannot be achieved by denying us ours.

Carol Morello: With Killings in Jerusalem, Prospect of U.S.-Sponsored Talks Dims Further—The dim prospect that U.S.-sponsored talks between Israelis and Palestinians could be resumed any time soon faded almost completelyTuesday after the bloody attack in a Jerusalem synagogue. “The pace and intensity of violence are accelerating,” said Robert Danin, a former U.S. diplomat and senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. “Right now, there’s not much receptivity for negotiations on either side, from either leader. Both sides feel victimized, and that’s a very bad place to be.” Haim Malka, deputy director of the Middle East program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said, “There’s a limit to what any administration can do. They can condemn violence. They can urge leaders to act calmly, and restrain calls for revenge. But the reality is they have a limited ability to change the violent dynamics on the ground.”

Robert Satloff: The Next President’s Mideast Mess—What is remarkable is that Barack and Bibi had such a deep well of mistrust of each other from the very start. Here, the original sin was, in my view, the Obama administration’s refusal to affirm what insiders call “the Bush-Sharon letters” of April 2004. This was a set of understandings worked out between George W. Bush and Ariel Sharon that injected realism into U.S. peace diplomacy by recognizing that there would be no return to the 1949 armistice lines but that a resolution to the conflict would be governed by “new realities on the ground.” That was a euphemistic reference to the existence of a substantial Jewish presence in blocs of settlements just east of the 1967 Green Line.

Nadav Shragai: Blood Libel— The wheels of justice grind slowly, at times too slowly. “The most beautiful moments in our lifetimes will come when we will meet Allah once the martyrs are on his ground, that of the Al-Aqsa mosque,” once exclaimed Sheikh Raed Salah, the “sheikh of Al-Aqsa.” Salah, the head of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, added a few more sentences to that statement, including charges and accusations that could be construed as blood libels against the Jews. Salah took these canards, which date back to the Middle Ages, and tried applying them to contemporary times.

Beatriz Becerra: Is Palestine a State That We Can Recognize?—Isn’t it irresponsible for Spain, a country with territorial problems of its own [in the Basque Country, Catalonia and Galicia], to champion initiatives of sovereignty recognition and statehood for non-states that don’t even meet the minimum applicable requirements?

European Jewish Congress: European Jewish Congress Calls on European Leaders to Condition Aid to the Palestinians on Ending Incitement—In the wake of the terror attack against worshipers in a synagogue in Jerusalem on Tuesday, the European Jewish Congress has called on European leaders to condition future aid and cooperation between the European Union and the Palestinians on the end of rampant incitement against Israel and Jews in the Palestinian Authority. Dr. Moshe Kantor, EJC President, said, “The Europeans have an ability to influence and a tool with which to pressure the Palestinians to end the daily incitement emanating from its leaders, education system, media and religious institutions, and that is the financial assistance which is helping aid this system.” “Incitement to hatred and violence, anti-Semitism, and religious hatred is by far the greatest obstacle to any lasting peace. The Europeans should demand that this ends immediately and threaten to withdraw all aid and cooperation until it does, before we see more massacres like the one this morning in Jerusalem.”

Khaled Abu Toameh: Israel’s Arabs Need Better Leaders— Some representatives of the Arab community in Israel are continuing to cause tremendous damage both to their constituents and coexistence between Jews and Arabs. These representatives, who serve in the Knesset (Parliament), have forgotten that they were elected to look after the interests of Israel’s Arab citizens. Their fiery rhetoric and provocative actions are the main reason why a growing number of Israeli Jews have begun relating to Arab citizens as a “fifth column” and an “enemy from within.” These Knesset members are obviously confused as to who their constituents are. Many of them seem to believe that they were elected to the Knesset to represent the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Of course, not all of the 11 Arab Knesset members (out of 120) are involved in provocations and inflammatory rhetoric. Half of them appear to be working toward improving the living conditions of the 1.5 million Arab citizens of Israel.

Reuven Paz: The Islamic State: Another Angle of the Threat— The struggle against the Islamic State organization led by the United States and its allies appears thus far to be something of a Sisyphean war: ineffective, limited to scratches on the surface of the jihadi pyramid, unable to end the civil wars in Syria and Iraq, and relegated to serve as another layer in the existing chaos in Syria and Iraq, and soon perhaps in part of Lebanon as well. The destruction plaguing the Middle East is accompanied by a frightening thought in the Western world of Islamic State alumni returning to their native countries to undertake terror attacks, and the Western world has become increasingly anxious. It finds relief in airstrikes and partial humanitarian aid for the millions of refugees created by civil wars in the Middle East.

Burak Bekdil: Turkey’s “Foreign” Citizens— In 2008, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s official news agency, Wafa, reported that Israel had released poison-resistant rats to drive Arab residents of Jerusalem out of their homes. Scientists are still trying to understand how rats are trained to distinguish between Muslim, Christian and Jewish residents of a city. In 2011, Saudi Arabia announced that it had “detained” a vulture carrying an Israeli leg band. The griffon vulture was carrying a GPS transmitter bearing the name of Tel Aviv University, and was condemned for being a part of a “Zionist espionage plot.” We are still waiting to hear if the bird was beheaded or sentenced to life in prison. Also in 2011, one of the two Turkish celebrities, who had been accused of raping prostitutes, defended himself by saying that the whole incident was “an Israeli plot against him.”

4--Scripture of the Day Yahweh

Genesis 38: 6-11

Now Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the sight of Yahweh, so Yahweh took his life. Then Judah said to Onan, “Go in to your brother’s wife, and perform your duty as a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother.” Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brother’s wife, he wasted his seed on the ground in order not to give offspring to his brother. But what he did was displeasing in the sight of Yahweh; so He took his life also. Then Judah said to his daughter-in-law Tamar, “Remain a widow in your father’s house until my son Shelah grows up”; for he thought, “I am afraid that he too may die like his brothers.” So Tamar went and lived in her father’s house.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
