J’accuse!— Pimping for Hamas: Jon Snow:

Dear Jon Snow:

I watched your recent report from Shifa Hospital, as well as the additional piece on your return from Gaza; with great interest.

As you rightly say to viewers “we have to know that in some way we actually share some responsibility for those deaths”. And let me say that I “did choose to watch” and I am indeed “motivated to do something”. That something is this…

Jon Snow, I accuse you of being complicit in the wilful and reckless endangerment and death of these same children and other innocents in Gaza. I accuse you of aiding and abetting Hamas in their diabolical plan to manipulate world opinion by ruthlessly engineering the maximum possible death toll among their own civilian population, especially their children.

I accuse you of wilful negligence, professional misconduct, and abject failure to report the facts as they truly are.

Yes Jon, I watched your macabre, heart wrenching “infomercial” / “propaganda film”, which might have been written by Hamas itself.

SnyderTalk Comment: Many journalists are pimping for Hamas.  Jon Snow is just one of them.  They ignore the facts or purposely try to hide them in order to portray Israel and Jewish people in a negative light.  Therefore, they have contributed greatly to the rising tide of anti-Semitism that’s crashing ashore all over the world.  Their culpability is irrefutable.

Most people are badly informed, so they are easy targets for journalists like Jon Snow.  Yahweh is not ignorant.  He knows that behind all the madness a spiritual war is raging.  Satan is trying to prevent Yahweh from fulfilling His promises.  He can’t win, but he can create a lot of havoc.

People who can’t make heads or tails out of what’s taking place in the physical world have little hope of understanding the spiritual dimension.  Since they can’t detect the spiritual realm with their 5 senses, they believe that it doesn’t exist, but it’s just as real as the air we breathe and the dark matter that occupies most of what until recently scientists thought was the “vacuum of space”.  The spiritual world exists whether they believe it or not.

So who is Jon Snow?

He served as ITN’s Washington correspondent (1983–1986) and as diplomatic editor (1986–1989) before becoming the main presenter of Channel 4 News in 1989. In 1992 he was the main anchor for ITN’s Election Night programme, broadcast on ITV; he presented the programme alongside Robin Day, Alastair Stewart and Julia Somerville. (Previously ITN’s programme had typically been presented by Alastair Burnet, who left ITN in 1991. The 1992 election night programme was the only one hosted by Snow. He was replaced by Jonathan Dimbleby from 1997 onwards.) He has won several RTS Awards – two for reports from El Salvador, one for his reporting of the Kegworth air disaster and two as “Presenter of the Year”.

In 2002 he returned to radio, presenting Jon Snow Reports on Oneword Radio, a weekly show and podcast. He wrote regular articles for the Channel 4 News website and ‘Snowmail’ – a daily email newsletter on the big stories coming up on the evening edition of Channel 4 News.

He is known for his vast collection of colourful ties and socks.

On 14 June 2011, Snow presented the multiple award-winning investigative documentary Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields, directed by Callum Macrae, which documented war crimes committed in the final days of the Sri Lankan conflict in 2009. The programme consisted of some of the most horrific footage ever broadcast in the UK; its second part, Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished was broadcast in March 2012.

And what does Jon Snow think about when he’s not pimping for Hamas?

Viewers are used to Jon Snow’s sober presence on the nightly news. But they might be shocked if they knew what was going through his mind.

The veteran Channel 4 host has confessed he thinks of sex every time he meets a woman.

And he says he likes to consider ‘what could be’ with his female friends and co-workers.

Insisting it is a ‘natural animal element of sustaining life’ for men to think of all women as potential sexual partners, he said being a man was ‘all about women’.

It’s obvious that Jon Snow has a women problem.  I love them, too.  In fact, I have a wife and two daughters so I am literally surrounded by them, but he’s obsessed with them in a dark way.  Snow’s off-the-charts fascination with women makes me think that he may be a closet jihadist. I wonder what he thinks about when he sees a herd of sheep or goats.

Jeffrey Goldberg: Europe’s Slow Surrender to Intolerance—On the one hand, it is completely unsurprising that Europe has become a swamp of anti-Jewish hostility. It is, after all, Europe. Anti-Jewish hostility has been its metier for centuries. (Yes, the locus of much anti-Jewish activity today is within Europe’s large Muslim-immigrant population; but the young men who threaten their Jewish neighbors draw on the language and traditions of European anti-Semitism as much as they do on Muslim modes of anti-Semitic thought.) On the other hand, the intensity, and velocity, of anti-Jewish invective — and actual anti-Jewish thuggery — has surprised even Eurocynics such as myself. “Jews to the gas,” a chant heard at rallies in Germany, still has the capacity to shock. So do images of besieged synagogues and looted stores. And testimony from harassed rabbis and frightened Jewish children.

SnyderTalk Comment: Decent people must look evil in the eye, confront it, and defeat it.  There can be no compromise, and despite President Obama’s preference, there will be a victor and the vanquished.  Which one will we be?

Douglas Murray: Just a Bit More Beheading than We Are Used To— Who is surprised? That is one question I have most wanted to know since the video was released of the murder of American journalist James Foley. The politicians keep expressing it. And interviewers have kept asking people whether they feel it. But who can honestly say that he was surprised to learn that the murderer of the American journalist turned out to be a “British” man? Did anyone really still think that a British Islamist would not be capable of doing this? Why wouldn’t he, if he is capable of doing it in Syria or Iraq? After all, it was only last year that two other Islamists beheaded one of our own soldiers – Drummer Lee Rigby – in broad daylight in London. And it is only twelve years since another Londoner – Omar Sheikh – arranged the abduction and decapitation of another American journalist, Daniel Pearl.

Rabbi Benjamin Blech: ISIS, Jim Foley & Confronting Evil— In the aftermath of the Holocaust, Romain Gary, in his powerful masterpiece The Dance of Genghis Khan, summed up civilization this way: “The ancient Simbas, a primitive tribe of cruel cannibals boiled their victims and then consumed them. The modern day Germans, heirs to thousands of years of culture and civilization, turn their murdered victims into soap. This, this passion for cleanliness – that is civilization.” Last week James Foley, an American journalist, was brutally and sadistically beheaded with a 6 inch knife by a masked terrorist with an educated British accent, and a video of the gruesome murder was immediately available for viewing around the world on YouTube. This, this technological wonder that allows for the virus of violence to spread its message across the globe in an instant – this is what is fast becoming the sign of 21st century civilization.

Eli Lake: US and Iran Hit ISIS, Ignore Each Other—U.S. warplanes striking targets in Iraq. Iranian tanks are reportedly moving into the northern part of the country. But the two foreign militaries fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) are not talking to one another. U.S. and Iraqi officials tell The Daily Beast that, for now, there is no direct channel to coordinate military activities inside Iraq. Instead messages are occasionally passed by senior Iraqi officials who have for years served as interlocutors between Iran and the United States. “Our channels are no different than they were a year ago,” said one senior U.S. official. “There is a lot of activity, but we have not opened a new channel.” Last week, some foreign policy analysts in Washington publicly argued that the ISIS threat ought to spur a grand alliance with Iran, Syria, Russia and the United States fighting on the same side against the terrorist group that has morphed into an army and (at least according to their own propaganda) a Caliphate.

Noah Beck: Obama’s Hypocrisy on Hamas, ISIS, and Iran— The beheading of U.S. journalist James Foley has raised concerns in the West about Islamist threats. But Israel has been facing this specter for decades and – given Israel’s proximity to the Islamist threat – the Jewish State is the canary in the coal mine for the West. But Gaza seems to be the Western blind spot, even though the Hamas-ISIS parallels are glaringly obvious. Since beheadings are the current media focus, and ISIS has beheaded infants, it’s worth noting that Hamas praised the 2011 Itamar murders, which involved the decapitation of a baby. Islamist beheadings should surprise no one, given that they’ve been happening for much of (and despite) modernity – perhaps because “Islam is the only major world religion today that is cited…to legitimize beheadings,” according to this study.

IPT News: Jordan Accuses Hizballah of Plotting Attacks on U.S., Israeli Targets— Jordanian prosecutors charged eight people with planning to attack American soldiers and Israel’s embassy in the country, in addition to recruiting individuals on behalf of Hizballah. A Syrian fugitive and seven Jordanians are accused of being part of a “conspiracy with intent to carry out terrorist acts,” according to an Investigative Project on Terrorism translation of a Jordanian daily Al Ghad story. The suspects are accused of being Hizballah members. The Lebanese-based Iranian terror proxy is an illegal organization in Jordan and designated as a terrorist group by the U.S. and other major Western countries. The seven Jordanians had automatic weapons, basic materials for manufacturing explosives, and small imaging devices to conduct intelligence operations when they were arrested in May. The indictment reveals that this case dates back to 2006 when the main defendant became infuriated with the presence of American soldiers in Jordan. He then recruited others, who were all members of the “Association Against Zionism and Racism.”

Professor Deborah Lipstadt: Why Jews Are Worried— An old Jewish joke goes like this: “What’s the definition of a Jewish telegram? ‘Start worrying. Details to follow.’ ” I am often asked by fellow Jews about contemporary manifestations of anti-Semitism, particularly in Europe. “Is this just like 1939? Are we on the cusp of another Holocaust?” Until now, my answer has been an unequivocal “no.” I have criticized community leaders who, either out of genuine concern or to advance their own purposes, use Holocaust analogies to describe contemporary conditions. These claims are ahistorical. They overstate what is going on now and completely understate the situation in 1939. The differences between then and now are legion. When there is an outbreak of anti-Semitism today, officials condemn it. This is light-years away from the 1930s and 1940s, when governments were not only silent but complicit. Memory also distinguishes the present from previous events. Now, in contrast to the 1930s, we know matters can escalate. Jews today are resolute in their determination: “Never again.”

Khaled Abu Toameh: Will Hamas Be Held Accountable for War Crimes? Not Likely— Hamas’s extrajudicial executions of Palestinians suspected of “collaboration” with Israel are a sign that the Islamist movement is beginning to panic in the wake of Israel’s successful targeting of its leaders. But the public executions by firing squad of more than 26 suspected “collaborators” in the Gaza Strip could also turn many Palestinians against Hamas. Hamas has banned the publication of the names of the executed Palestinians “out of concern for the social fabric” of Palestinian society. In other words, Hamas is afraid that revealing the identities of the executed “collaborators” would spark outrage in the Gaza Strip and possible calls for revenge, especially from the families of the victims. Hamas says that the suspected “collaborators” were brought before firing squads after being tried before special “revolutionary tribunals” consisting of security experts and officers.

Rachel Delia Benaim: Terror Financing Trial Underway in Brooklyn— This week, after a decade of legal tango, the Jordanian-based Arab Bank found itself on trial in Brooklyn over allegations it funded Hamas’ terror activities that injured and killed American citizens in Israel from 2001 to 2004. The victims and their families contend that Arab Bank provided funds to people and organizations with known links to Hamas. The Arab Bank denies the claim. The suit was filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act, which states that Americans—or, if they are deceased, their estate—can claim damages in federal court for damages caused by terrorism anywhere outside of the United States. The law was passed as a way to enable American victims of international terror to claim reparations. The law provides flexibility for victims to claim theoretical reparation, but in actuality it has had little effect, since it is understandably difficult to bring foreign terrorists to an American court.

Stephen Blank and Peter Huessy: The Truth about Ukraine— If “truth is the first casualty of war,” Russia’s war against Ukraine, illegally launched by Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, is no exception. One of the saddest developments of this war is that on all political sides, in both Europe and the U.S., an entire army of Putin defenders has emerged, for whom the United States can do little right and Russia can do little wrong. On the “right,” for instance, Patrick Buchanan has discovered that Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is supporting both Christian values and U.S. efforts in Afghanistan. Consequently he asserts we should not be worried about his illegal annexation of Crimea and aggression in Eastern Ukraine in violation of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, in which Ukraine gave up its nuclear arsenal in exchange for Russian and American assurances that the use of force or threats of military action would not be taken against it. The facts, however, are against Buchanan.

4--Scripture of the Day Yahweh

Genesis 27: 18-26

18 Then he came to his father and said, “My father.” And he said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?” 19 Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau your firstborn; I have done as you told me. Get up, please, sit and eat of my game, that you may bless me.” 20 Isaac said to his son, “How is it that you have it so quickly, my son?” And he said, “Because Yahweh your God caused it to happen to me.” 21 Then Isaac said to Jacob, “Please come close, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not.” 22 So Jacob came close to Isaac his father, and he felt him and said, “The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau.” 23 He did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau’s hands; so he blessed him. 24 And he said, “Are you really my son Esau?” And he said, “I am.” 25 So he said, “Bring it to me, and I will eat of my son’s game, that I may bless you.” And he brought it to him, and he ate; he also brought him wine and he drank. 26 Then his father Isaac said to him, “Please come close and kiss me, my son.”

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
