Stop Funding the PA/PLO Now

As Alice of Wonderland famously said, things are getting “curiouser and curiouser.”  Mahmoud Abbas has a doctoral degree.  His dissertation is titled “The Other Side: the Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism”.  In 1984, Abbas published his dissertation as a book titled “The Other Side: the Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism”.  In both the dissertation and the book, Abbas said,

“It seems that the interest of the Zionist movement, however, is to inflate this figure [of Holocaust deaths] so that their gains will be greater. This led them to emphasize this figure [six million] in order to gain the solidarity of international public opinion with Zionism. Many scholars have debated the figure of six million and reached stunning conclusions — fixing the number of Jewish victims at only a few hundred thousand.”

In both the book and the dissertation, Abbas also said,

“Following the war, word was spread that six million Jews were amongst the victims and that a war of extermination was aimed primarily at the Jews…The truth is that no one can either confirm or deny this figure. In other words, it is possible that the number of Jewish victims reached six million, but at the same time it is possible that the figure is much smaller, below one million.”

But this is the most disturbing thing that Abbas said in the dissertation and the book:

“The Zionist movement led a broad campaign of incitement against the Jews living under Nazi rule to arouse the government’s hatred of them, to fuel vengeance against them and to expand the mass extermination.”

Today, April 27, 2014, Abbas said that the Holocaust is the “most heinous crime” in modern history.  Which Abbas are we to believe—the one who denies the severity of the Holocaust and blames it on “Zionists” or the one who spoke today?

Candidly, I believe that Abbas is completely untrustworthy and that today he is saying what he thinks Western government leaders want to hear in order to protect continued funding and to guarantee his access to those funds so that he can continue building his personal net worth which already exceeds more than $100 million.  He didn’t accumulate his vast wealth by running falafel stands in Ramallah.  It came from suckers in the U.S. and Europe for the most part—people like Barack Obama and John Kerry who gave Abbas MY MONEY and YOUR MONEY.

Western government leaders have been chumps for the roughly 50 years of the PLO’s existence pouring money into a corrupt and violent organization whose sole reason for being is to destroy Israel, but they don’t need to continue acting like suckers.  It’s time to hold the PA/PLO and its leaders accountable.  Ignore their words and judge by their actions.  If Western leaders will do that and if they are honest, they will stop funding the PA/PLO now.

SnyderTalk Comment: This video is painful to watch, especially for those of us who have been paying tax dollars for decades to support our public schools and colleges.  Please keep this video in mind the next time you hear public school officials and college administrators tell the American people that teachers are doing a great job.  That’s a lie.

Dror Eydar: Jews, come home— Yesterday, I told my daughters they are the fourth generation of survivors of destruction, a symbol of our rise from the ashes of the Holocaust and the victory of life over death, the triumph of the human spirit over evil. We feel this directly. Every year on this terrible day, we speak of the victims and the murderers, about the power of evil and the blindness of the world to the destruction of our people, as well as the blindness of our fathers and mothers, who, despite being aware of the systematic extermination, consoled themselves with the thought of “This won’t happen to us.” Grandma Leah was taken to Auschwitz toward the end of the war. Every year, we hear the eternal statement “Never again!” Indeed, we will not trust others, as good as their intentions may be, to, at the moment of truth, come to our aid. We will not dismiss the threats to destroy us that are spewed by the spiritual successors of the Nazi stormtroopers. We also will not wait until the evil arrives at our doorstep. Rather, we will confront it far from our borders.

Herb Keinon: Israel: Abbas “Confirmed the Kill” of the Diplomatic Process—If PA President Mahmoud Abbas destroyed the diplomatic process last week by reconciling with Hamas, he “confirmed the kill” on Saturday with his speech affirming the pact and stipulating conditions for continued talks with Israel, diplomatic officials in Jerusalem said. Israel has made clear to the Palestinians, the U.S. and the international community that it will not resume the talks with Abbas if the Fatah-Hamas pact is implemented, unless Hamas accepts the international community’s three conditions for engagement: recognizing Israel, stopping terrorism and accepting previous Israeli-Palestinian agreements.

Dore Gold: The Myth of the Moderate Hamas—Egypt announced in January 2011 that Jaish al-Islam, a Gaza al-Qaeda affiliate, was responsible for the bombing of a Coptic Church in Alexandria that killed 24 Coptic Christians. In the past, Hamas had undertaken joint military operations with Jaish al-Islam, like the 2006 kidnapping of Gilad Shalit. Their involvement demonstrated how the Hamas regime was giving sanctuary to organizations that were directly threatening Egypt. This past year the Egyptian military has become increasingly convinced that Hamas itself has become linked to the global jihadist network flourishing in the Sinai Peninsula. This includes training in the use of explosives and other military preparations that are permitted at Hamas military bases. In early 2014, Egypt’s Interior Minister, Muhammad Ibrahim, accused Hamas of providing logistical support for a terrorist operation on December 24, 2013, in Mansoura, in the Nile Delta, that left 16 dead and 130 wounded at the local Egyptian Security Directorate. Since that time, a Cairo court outlawed the activities of Hamas throughout Egypt.

Ben Lynfield: Smoke and Mirrors: The Palestinian Coffee House Verdict on the Unity Deal with Hamas—At a popular coffee house in Al Bireh in the central West Bank, many doubted the reconciliation agreement Abbas struck with Hamas would last, or thought it would end up on the shelf like previous reconciliation deals. Amjad Mohammed, an official in the PA Interior Ministry, noted: “Hamas doesn’t want reconciliation. It wants all the power in its hands. That’s the nature of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas wants to rule over everything.”

Michael Curtis: Telling the Truth about Terrorism and Islamic Charities—The link between “charity” groups and terrorist organizations is frequently not recognized or is ignored. The chairman of the British Charity Commission, William Shawcross, on April 20, 2014 expressed his concern about charities being used as vehicles for such groups. He warns that the “problem of Islamist extremism… is not the most widespread problem we face in terms of abuse of charities but is potentially the most deadly… and it is growing.” The growth is evident from the analysis in the British list of terrorist organizations proscribed under the Terrorism Act 2000. Of the 55 organizations, 33 are Islamist, alphabetically, from the Abu Nidal Organization, whose declared aim is the destruction of Israel, to Saved Sect or Savior Sect, a group that has disguised its name on a number of occasions and which seeks to establish an Islamic Caliphate ruled by Sharia law.

Eli E. Hertz: Islam’s Tenuous Connection to Jerusalem—Despite 1,300 years of Muslim Arab rule, Jerusalem was never the capital of an Arab entity, nor was it ever mentioned in the Palestine Liberation Organization’s covenant until Israel regained control of East Jerusalem in the Six-Day War of 1967. Overall, the role of Jerusalem in Islam is best understood as the outcome of political exigencies impacting religious belief. Mohammed, who founded Islam in 622 CE, was born and raised in present-day Saudi Arabia and never set foot in Jerusalem. His connection to the city came years after his death when the Dome of the Rock shrine and the al-Aqsa mosque were built in 688 and 691, respectively, their construction spurred by political and religious rivalries. In 638 CE, the Caliph (or successor to Mohammed) Omar and his invading armies captured Jerusalem from the Byzantine Empire. One reason they wanted to erect a holy structure in Jerusalem was to proclaim Islam’s supremacy over Christianity and its most important shrine, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Prof. Eyal Zisser: A match made in heaven?— Over the past year Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has stood strong on two legs. The first leg has been negotiations with Israel, and the second, reconciliation talks with Hamas. This is also the reason for the Catch-22 in which he has found himself: He would need to concede one of these legs, but walking on one leg alone would lead to his downfall. He chose, therefore, to remain in place, to conduct negotiations with Israel and Hamas but not to move ahead in either. And yet Abbas decided to go forward with Hamas regardless, and risk Israeli countermeasures.

Dror Eydar: The curse of political correctness— 1. It is with unbearable ease that the foundations of free society can be shaken. Not too long ago, Brendan Eich, the CEO of Mozilla, was fired from the company, which is responsible for the Firefox browser, among other things. The poor guy was fired because gay and lesbian groups found out that he had once donated $1,000 to the campaign for California Proposition 8, which sought to make same-sex marriage unconstitutional in California by defining marriage as a union between a man and woman.

Pete Parker: A Chilling Reality: the Islamization of Our Military— Manifestly the Pentagon never received the memo that Islam is at war with Western Civilization. Or, that Islam is a brutally misogynistic ideology bent on the wholesale murder of women who dare show a little ankle. Oh, and did I forget to mention that its founder, Mohammed–had an unquenchable penchant for little girls? In short: Islam is evil. With that established–allow me to enlighten you as to what insanity our Pentagon is currently engaged in. The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) just announced that it will be providing our military with chaplains for active-duty service. That’s right–our Pentagon is allowing ISNA (a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate) to supply the US military with full time chaplains.

Soeren Kern: UK: Sharia-Compliant Student Loans?— The British government has launched a public consultation on whether or not to introduce student loans that are compliant with Islamic Sharia law, which forbids loans that involve the payment of interest. The move to seek input from the general public comes amid rising complaints from Muslim students, who argue that the existing interest-based student loan system is unfairly forcing them to choose between getting a university degree and staying true to their religious beliefs. The government says the establishment of a scheme that would enable Muslim students to finance their degrees in a way that complies with Islamic principles would “ensure that anyone with the ability and desire can go to university.”

4--Scripture of the Day Yahweh

Genesis 4: 9-15

9 Then Yahweh said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” 10 He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground. 11 “Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you cultivate the ground, it will no longer yield its strength to you; you will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth.” 13 Cain said to Yahweh, “My punishment is too great to bear! 14 Behold, You have driven me this day from the face of the ground; and from Your face I will be hidden, and I will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.” 15 So Yahweh said to him, “Therefore whoever kills Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” And Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, so that no one finding him would slay him.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
