4--Scripture of the Day

Ezekiel 48: 10-14

“The holy allotment shall be for these, namely for the priests, toward the north 25,000 cubits in length, toward the west 10,000 in width, toward the east 10,000 in width, and toward the south 25,000 in length; and the sanctuary of Yahweh shall be in its midst. It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge, who did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray as the Levites went astray. It shall be an allotment to them from the allotment of the land, a most holy place, by the border of the Levites. Alongside the border of the priests the Levites shall have 25,000 cubits in length and 10,000 in width. The whole length shall be 25,000 cubits and the width 10,000. Moreover, they shall not sell or exchange any of it, or alienate this choice portion of land; for it is holy to Yahweh.”

5--HNIY Print form

His Name is Yahweh explains why the Name of God, Yahweh, is so important.  It’s available in eBook format and in paperback.  It’s also available for free in PDF format.

  • God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This [Yahweh] is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.” (Exodus 3: 15)
  • “Therefore behold, I am going to make them know—this time I will make them know My power and My might; and they shall know that My name is Yahweh.” (Jeremiah 16: 21)
  • “Behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land.  In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our righteousness.’” (Jeremiah 23: 5-6)
  • Yeshua said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” (John 8: 58)

#####

Nadav Shragai: Put out the fire now— Israel must respond to rising Palestinian violence now, before the fire gets out of control.

Boaz Bismuth: Withering Golan Heights— Not far from our own homes, dangerous weaponry is falling into the hands of people who answer to no one. Back in Damascus Assad still believes he can survive.

Dan Margalit: A cinematic Intifada at the Oscars— Two Israeli films critical of the Jewish state, funded by the Israeli public, will contend at the Oscars. Can’t scripts be found that portray the Israeli side and the heroes who paid with their lives fighting Palestinian terrorism?

Zvi Mazel: Analysis: The Egyptian army is making a comeback—As the clash between the regime and the opposition shows no signs of abating, can the military remain indifferent to the country’s slow degradation?

Andrew E. Harrod: Coming to a Theater near You: Palestinian Propaganda—The incredible vanishing Palestinian militancy, showcased for your enjoyment in Where Should the Birds Fly.

Michael Curtis: Pinkwashing: Sexual Assault on Israel—The relentless anti-Israeli warriors can never take yes for an answer.

Andrew E. Harrod: Defining Deviancy Down in Germany: Public Approval of Homosexuality and Its Consequences—The leftist vision of historical Progress ends in regression. We see the seeds of this in Germany.

Claudia Rosett: Tehran’s Man Onstage in Manhattan—Chalk this up as another hour and 40 minutes for the progress of Iran’s nuclear program.

Bridget Johnson: Special Ops Poised to Take $1 Billion Hit from Sequestration, CR—Will Washington step up in the 11th hour for our most elite warriors, or will cuts hazardously weaken SOCOM’s readiness?

Kim Zigfeld: Putin Propaganda: Texas Mother Accused of Murdering Adopted Russian Son—Firing up the proletariat with anti-Americanism: hey, it worked last time.

James Arlandson: The Biblical Norm for Marriage—Is biblical marriage an evolving social construct? Not even close.

Andrew C. McCarthy: American Jihadists—If a plane full of 200 American citizens is hijacked by foreign jihadists, the law does not tell us whether the president should shoot down the plane or let it be plowed into a skyscraper and kill 3,000 American citizens. It is the kind of excruciating decision that war makes necessary. Legal niceties do not tell us how to resolve it.

Clarice Feldman: The Bating Game: Obama Doubles Down—With the connivance of the press, Obama is trying to scare the public about the effects of the necessary Sequestration cuts while proposing yet another expensive, pointless program.

William Sullivan: Weighing the Gun Control Argument—It is a bit misleading to call our current national discussion about gun control a “debate.”

Steve Chapman: The Right Way to Combat Gun Violence—Public policy is a lot like math: No matter what the problem, the wrong answers are far more numerous than the right ones. This is particularly true on the subject of mass shootings and other firearms violence, which have stimulated a new fervor for barking up the wrong tree.

Joe Schoffstall: Obama’s Likely EPA Pick: ‘What We’re Talking About Is Regulating Future Power Plants’—Gina McCarthy, the EPA assistant administrator of the Office of Air and Radiation and who is rumored to be Pres. Obama’s pick to head the EPA, spoke of regulating “future power plants.”

Austin Hill: Obamanomics And The Jewish Deli Dilemma—Did you hear the big news from the world of small business? Jewish delis are closing in both Los Angeles, and New York City.

Janice Fiamengo: Loving the Enemy—Why the Left hates America.

Daniel J. Mitchell: Which Government Spend the Most Per Capita on Government Healthcare: France, Italy, the United States, Sweden, Canada, Greece, or the United Kingdom?— The United States spends more money, on a per-capita basis, than any of those countries.

14--Blessings from Revelation

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

Other Books by Neil Snyder

  • Stand! is a suspense novel that exposes the lies, corruption, and greed underlying the theory that man-made CO2 emissions are responsible for global warming.  Professor Wes Carlyle and Karen Sterling, his research collaborator, carefully scan the audience for their would-be attacker—a member of the enviro-gestapo who has been following them for days.  Wes spots his man in the back of the room leaning against the wall.  Suddenly, another man in the audience steps forward and moves toward Karen at a menacing pace.  With a vicious stroke, he swings a billy club at her head.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
  • What Will You Do with the Rest of Your Life? deals with a question that every Christian has to consider: what should I do with my life?  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
  • Falsely Accused is a true story about a young woman who was accused of committing a double homicide.  It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.  Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided.  They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make.  As they say, forewarned is forearmed.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
